Reid playing forward?

for the brief period of time I was there between meetings, I was down the end with the backline. Reid didn't seem to be in any of the drills so I assume he was up with the forwards

Assume the balance 4 will come from the ‘yellow vest’ players including the previously listed above.

Wells & Varcoe both came off after match simulation.
Didn’t look injured, but didn’t complete the session.

Only players not training: Langdon, Beams, Dunn, Kelly, IQ, Cox.
Everyone else in full training.

Nearly a full team. Arguably only Langdon, Beams, Cox and Dunn out which is excellent by Collingwood standards.

That leaves final 2 selections from Wills, Reid, Varcoe, Noble, Madgen, Brown, Aish & Wells.
My tip, the final 2 selections from Brown, Wills & Reid, subject to team balance.
So I’ll go with
IN: JDG, Stevo, Sidebottom, Reid
OUT: Madgen, Noble, Varcoe, Brown (very unlucky)

He looked really good didn't he!

There was a moment up one end where he really had to run at full tilt to mark the ball. He got there easily, stopped, propped and kicked it beautifully onto the next player.

I find it very hard to believe that Reid will be selected given the fitness/durability of Moore, DeGoey, Sidebottom and Sharenberg is in question.

Sounds like Roughead and Moore in defence and a small, agile forward line with Mihochek the only tall. Given the weather forecast, perhaps that's OK. I guess if it doesn't work, they can swing Moore/Roughead forward too.

We are lucky that so many of our small/medium forwards are so strong overhead. All of WHE, DeGoey, Elliott and Stephenson effectively play taller than their actual height.
