I think everyone just wanted to see more assists, he had a selfish game against the Hornets, but he's back with some serious point guard action again.

I just don’t get sick of watching the highlights package from his breakout game.

He is so tentative at the start. You can see that the crowd, the commentators and his teammates are all kinda mildly surprised that he is pulling off a couple of okay moves. The longer the game goes on the more confident he gets and everything and everyone just keeps on ratcheting up and up and up with him.
.

Yeah that was a great watch. They seemed to be regarding his performance in that game as a hot streak more than anything else, and a few of his teammates were laughing at it all, just like you laugh when Glenn McGrath hits a 50.

You can also see how he's changed the team's fortunes single handedly, they were a poor side, and they were also behind when Lin came on. That all changed though :o

The internet is awesome:

FedEx deliveryman predicted Jeremy Lin's fame

He spends his days as a driver for FedEx, but once he punches out, he goes to work at his true passion: finding the best college basketball players in the country. He publishes his assessments on the sports blog hoopsanalyst.com.

In 2010, he choose Harvard senior Lin as his top point guard prospect, when no one else was paying much attention to the Ivy Leaguer.

I suppose it wasn’t just that he made 50; it was also that he suddenly looked like Adam Gilchrist doing it.

They really were a rabble, now they look like a completely different team.

Melo back tonight for the Nets game. Lets see how he meshes with Lin, given that Lin likes to keep the ball moving around the court while Melo prefers a different playing style.

21 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 turnovers. 50% from 3, 39% FG. Not Deron Williams, but still decent.

First game with Melo back... Loss.

Lin was still good and scored and took more shots than Melo. Interesting. To be fair Williams was just having a ******ed game so while the loss will be frustrating for Knicks fans, any team would have struggled against how hot Williams was.

My sportscenter push notifications now give me Lin's box score. Sometimes quarter by quarter.

Deron Williams Sought Payback Against Jeremy Lin
Jeremy Lin scored 21 points, handed out nine assists and grabbed seven rebounds in a 99-92 win over Deron Williams and the Nets earlier this month.

“It started on me,” Williams said of that Feb. 4 loss to Lin and the Knicks.

Williams responded with 38 points against the Knicks on Monday night, including 18 points in the first half, all on 3-pointers and free throws.

“We definitely had this one circled,” Williams said. “I think our whole team did. I know I personally did, because this was stuck in my mind. This all started on me.”

He added: “I don’t really watch sports. I don’t really watch too many games, but I do see Twitter. People tweeting me, and every three lines was Jeremy Lin destroyed Deron Williams. So I definitely took offense to that from the first game.”

Another win for NY today. Tomorrow will test them in the form of the Miami Heat. Win there and Linsanity could reach new heights.

Also Philly are nosediving with 5 straight losses. With Boston sucking it's not out of the realms of possibility that NY could get to the top of the Atlantic.

I think Lin is the real deal. Even Brian Goorjian was keen to hang on to him during his stint playing in China last year, says a lot about the guy's ability and attitude.

Great story.
