Jericho, Jericho where has he been?
He has been missing for weeks and still cant be seen
Jericho, Jericho what did he tear?
Does any one know?, does anyone care?

Seriously whats happened to him? Poor form? Not in favour with NC? Too soft? Will we keep him at seasons end? Has he got what it takes or is he another one destined to be quickly forgotten?

Facts / Thoughts?

Should be doing a lot more at SANFL level IMO to get a regular gig in the As.

At times it looks like he is soft and has no heart - get rid of him.

Better yet - get him to play a couple of blinders so we can get some value out of him come trade week.....

just a hypothetical......if he was playing servicably at SANFL level......

a)....who would we drop for him...???.......

and b)...... if we were going to the trouble of dropping a forward....wouldn't we bring in Watts instead..??

Yeh you have some good points there MD. He isnt going to get a gig ahead of any of the current inclusions and Watts would be ahead of him when a chance come along.

I havent even heard anything about him for weeks though. I was wondering if he had been injured or is he just not playing well for Westies? Earlier in the season he was always in Westies best when he wasnt with the Crows and now he's seemingly disappeared of the radar completely.

Didn't Westies have the bye last weekend, so I gather he would have been quiet. Didn't see him at the Westies function, but unfortunatley saw the Marshmellow & had to bite my lip. Ended up on the table with Rehny, who wa looking forward to a run on the old turf with his kid prior to last Sunday's game.

Yeah West had the bye, not sure if he played with Sturt's Bs (i think they are bottom).

To be fair to him regarding his less than impressive SANFL form, Westies are really struggling at the moment and Rehn likes to play a crap style of footy which consists of flooding and chipping the ball sideways and backwards so it would be very hard for him to make an impression as a forward.

Keep an eye out on how he goes against South this week, who look pretty strong this year.

He's fine, simply doing his apprenticeship at SANFL - as RL said plaing in an ordinary side and as still a youngster he would be finding this difficult.

But he'll be OK - just tough to get a gig currently when the sides winning - it's making players out of the team fight like all hell once they get the opportunity.

He's definitely out of favour given Welsh is out.
Stevens and Watts both appear to be in front (at least for now).
He was given a good chance but was not exactly scintillating (played well in 1 game)

Again he is only a young kid with outstanding natural ability, who should be persisted with. He has been 1 of Westies better players this year in a struggling team. No where near our worst player on the list.

Harsh but at this stage it seems true.

Players on the AFL list who, IMO, won't make it due to lack of hardness:

Jericho,
Smith,
S Stevens,
Skipworth.

I would have included Doughty as well, but his attack at the contest this year has improved dramatically.

Trent also needs toughen up if he wants to be long term AFL footballer.
