Reported by Hagdorn apparently. Boundary too close to the fence too. Either cancelled or moved to another venue

Yeah i had this discussion with a st kilda supporter on the womens footy thread. WCE moved the goalposts in about ten metres and widened the boundary to try and get closer to the Optus stadium dimensions to try and acclimatise before the move. The young women played there recently for the Jan Cooper Cup and it was fine but i think the AFL guys will be travelling a lot faster so they're more at risk from hitting the boundary. Its been like this for a while now so i dont know how they hadnt thought of it before they organised the game there, especially since it was someone from the club itself that told me why the dimensions had been changed.

Yeah i'm not sure mate. I know they have plugged up the old goal holes as well coz they've moved them a fair way in. Maybe they think that its too much to move the goals again or the ground would be too small if they bring the boundary in with the goals where they currently are?
