Starting with the ugly hack this year TheOz?

After watching Omeara earlier today, read a few posts mentioning him as a lock, checked his price and surprised to see its only $318,000! That is going to be hard to ignore! If he stays upright he's certainly worth a punt surely.

He did look very sharp. There were a few noteworthy performances on both sides, it was an entertaining game.

I believe so but it isn't definitive yet, you? Notched up a lazy 91 in only 65% odd tog.

Myers is probably the bloke you would want to target for M11 then, although no dpp so you're kinda limited in loophole flexibility plus he's not basement priced. Looking at Deluca from Freo as a DPP floating donut candidate. Both Essendon and Freo are the two best teams in terms of loophole players to target.

Balic. Freo. DPP. $123K. Won't play early but should get games later.

So you think his mid role is just for a JLT show?

Higgins needs to be in there...they have no one else classy/good enough to replace him.

I see him playing mid come round 1, big question is will his body hold up? But the way he going a 90+ average isn't unreasonable for him.

Im probs not starting with him cos i see better options but he is becoming more relevant.

Shift them back and fwd when mid rookies show, whilst they moo.

i was skeptical on him, but if he is named round 1, adds something to that midfield

Quite the lean backline, been alternating between 2/0/6 and 3/0/5 in the backs myself, never like a midprice backman, always have come across as a trap for mine. Lonergan, Sheridan, Lumumba, Rich etc etc. With the plethora of back rookies seemingly available, I don't think mid price backmen make much sense this year, some surer mid-pricers in the forwards who have been actual premos before like Roughy if you're going to go down the mid price route.
