Rookies in the 160-200k range have generally been bad picks in recent years. Most of them score very similar to your 100-124k rookie and have only marginally better job security. What makes you think Brodie will be any different? It does depend a bit on what cheap players are on offer in the mids playing R1, but he'll likely have to go at least 75ppg to be worth it. That's a big ask.
