One of the key points everyone was talking about predraft was that he was AFL ready. Didn't look anything like being close to AFL ready. Rushed handballs and miskicks. Definite no-no for his price tag.

I've personally watched that sumbitch along with H.Clark drag the Stingrays over the line in many TAC games.

Certainly nothing like what he's shown for Norf thus far, normally he's a more contested Josh Kelly.

Look at his average from when he came back into the side last year. He started the year forward and has played all different roles over the years. Now he is going to be +1 most of the time so will get lots of intercept marks and kicks.

But Billings has averaged 90+ over 22 games and has a guaranteed role and is forward selectable.
Vlas could go 90 in the backline but I don't see his ceiling much more than that without injury or change of club coming into it.

Sicily at his price can't go backwards. If he gets rid of those 50 games he only goes up

Same thing every year a few rookies fall through and too much emphasis is put into JLT performances on guys probably not worth taking a punt. I saw an article from last year where a journalist picked a breakout player from each club, he picked 1 right out of 18 because he looked at JLT form

The only other ruck I'd take after Gawn Is the Nank. Great price. Another pre season. Top 8 team. Not much travel which is important for rucks.
