Peterson's been saying one-eyed shit since the beginning, you can look up his talk with Matt Dillahunty 3 years ago when he tries to act like death is a better state of "being" than life and how there's no such thing as atheists to see that. The guy has more spin than a lego wheel set.

Also, critiquing and debunking Jordan's rhetoric is hardly new, YouTuber ContraPoints was doing that a few years ago but how well I'm not sure, but from what I've seen of her content, it's probably very good and has good feedback. You'd have to judge that for yourselves.

This fits in this thread and the cancel culture thread.
The stooges at CNN are at it again trying to cancel Rogan. They are slimy pieces of crap. They don't care about truth, they only care that Rogan is trouncing them in the ratings.

Well done Kyle for calling out CNN and cancel culture.
Worth a watch, especially those who like to defend cancel culture.

5:20 is the CNN "interview" - Make sure u listen to Kyle after that.

I like Kyle Kulinski, might give that a listen.

Speaking of cancel culture, anyone else hear about conservatives cancelling "Maus", "...a graphic novel that conveys the horrors of the Holocaust in cartoon form, with Jews depicted as mice and Nazis as cats. A Tennessee school board voted unanimously this month to ban the Pulitzer-winning book from their eighth-grade curriculum, citing “objectionable language” and nudity."

I was still in my early/mid teens when I wasn't granted access to the holocaust exhibit in London. Childhood innocence is something that once it's gone you can't put the genie back in the bottle.

That goes for sex, violence, horrors of human history.

Considering we were talking about insurance, I think it's pretty clear that we are talking about your seatbelt's effectiveness to the other driver. I don't think the data shows anything close to most crashes being head ons.
“The insurance serves to protect you, as does the seatbelt. Neither are particularly useful to anyone else, especially if they have made their own choice to utilize one or both.”

The fa
seatbelt wrong think. we’ve reached a new low…👍
People were against seatbelts when first introduced. They’d claim that they broken bones etc but they’ve proven to be far more effective in saving lives than if they didn’t so their opinions on them changed.

"I invented mRNA vaccines".

Right off the bat. He didn't publish his work. He gave up on his work. He made a contribution, but he is not an inventor of the technology. There are HUNDREDS of other people who worked on it. His patents are not used, and expired long ago. He abandoned it.

You can't even say there is one inventor, but the biggest contributor seems to be generally agreed to be Kaitlin Kariko, who pushed the technology to completion.

After this one Big Lie, he then carries on with unbridled dishonesty about just about everything.

Malone is a liar. He tells lies. He feeds Covid deniers, he feeds anti-vaxers.
He has 6 patents on some of the original mRNA vaccines and is widely acknowledged as one of the inventors. He has never claimed to be the sole inventor

Hmmm dunno about that. Certainly seems happy enough with the implication that he is, in the few interviews I've seen him in. The blurb for his Rogan ep still says "Dr. Robert Malone is the inventor of the nine original mRNA vaccine patents...", for example.

Anyway forget the patent stuff - after putting on a somewhat palatable public persona for Rogan, a few days later he was on InfoWars talking about the NWO and the great reset etc. I wouldn't trust anyone with judgement bad enough to appear on that garbage dump on an operation :drunk:

Reading the minutes from the meeting, they seem more concerned of it being taught in 8th grade. They look to be happy to have the book taught with the profanity and graphic scenes removed, but one of the board members is a lawyer and advises that may breach copyright laws around fair use? But they do go as far to suggest possibly contacting the author to get permission for the redaction. They also infer that if they can't find a way to use it minus the profanity/graphic scenes the book may be reinstated but in another module (I think they are referring to a higher grade).

I mean, I'm not saying I agree with it being removed (I am pretty sure year 8 in the US is the same level as year 9 here, so 14-15 years old) for the reasons given, but gee a bit of a storm in a tea cup isn't it? It's hardly a book burning.

p.s Whoever wrote that article is a complete hack. They write "It’s not clear if the book will be replaced in the curriculum with another book about that period of history". The motion in the minutes is "I move that we remove this book from the reading series and challenge our instructional staff to come with an alternative method of teaching The Holocaust". Mike Lowry- second."

Well, storm in a teacup is kind of the right-wings speciality.

Dr. Seuss, Mr. Potato Head, Coon Cheese, who gives a shit?

Where are conservatives when it comes to healthcare reform, education, unionisation, climate action, wage growth, combating pseudoscience, and so on?

They milk that "isn't wokeism" bad bullshit for all it's worth. Flogging a dead horse and bereft of new ideas.

He has 6 patents on some of the original mRNA vaccines
He had patents on different processes from what I know. Not mRNA vaccines.

Those patents lapsed. He did nothing more with them. He worked on other things. It looks like he's pissed that he backed the wrong horse.

For many years after Malone’s experiments, which themselves had drawn on the work of other researchers, mRNA was seen as too unstable and expensive to be used as a drug or a vaccine. Dozens of academic labs and companies worked on the idea, struggling with finding the right formula of fats and nucleic acids — the building blocks of mRNA vaccines.

Today’s mRNA jabs have innovations that were invented years after Malone’s time in the lab, including chemically modified RNA and different types of fat bubble to ferry them into cells (see ‘Inside an mRNA COVID vaccine’). Still, Malone, who calls himself the “inventor of mRNA vaccines”, thinks his work hasn’t been given enough credit. “I’ve been written out of history,” he told Nature.

Andy Stumpf on the latest Joe Rogan Podcast today, he has been on before.. highly recommended listen.

Andy Stumpf is a retired Navy Seal, record setting wingsuit pilot, base jumper, public speaker and host of the popular Podcast Cleared Hot.

What has that got to do with Joe Rogan?

Unless you mean those dickwad Democrats telling Spotify what to do?
It doesn't, my initial point was that conservatives have things they get triggered about, too, and have their own version of political correctness, but they've been clever enough to make a big song and dance about the types of Democrat voters keen to cast out their own, winning them culture war points. Democrats and other western left-wing parties need to smarten up in that regard, among other issues.

The Conservatives biggest issue is the double standards applied.

Gina Carano gets fired for making an analogy to the Nazis.

Whoopi Goldberg says their was nothing racial about the Holocaust because they were both white then doubles down and only gets a 2 week weak arse suspension.

What Whoopi said was far worse and far more idiotic and ignorant than what Carano said but the punsihments were nothing a like in their severity.

Doesn't anyone find it odd that mRNA vaccines had been trialled for decades and never found one that got across the line until now? In the midst of a pandemic where we've changed the way we've done everything on an unprecedented basis. Doesn't it inherently imply that these vaccines are unprecedented.

That's fair enough, but if Gina hadn't been fired, would conservatives not be calling for Whoopi's head? See, I'm not convinced that either side gives a shit about free speech (and my view is it should be protected from the government only, Disney etc can do what they like), but yes, Whoopi got off light in comparison, especially since Disney owns ABC which if I'm not mistaken is the network The View is on.

Nope. **** off with that conspiracy rubbish. Is the COVID-19 Vaccine Safe?

'conspiracy', so Pfizer is just refusing to disclose their research material for what reason exactly?
I don't blame anyone for being suspicious of Pfizer.

But the vaccine data is out in the world. It works.

where are you getting that information from? can you link me to a source? it could be true but not for the reason you think it is.

Yeah, if you want a conspiracy, Pfizer doing everything they can to increase their profit margin is a good one. But a conspiracy about the vaccines being unsafe and dangerous and 99.9% of the global medical scientific community and their actual research and data being wrong while slack-jawed Doug at the local pub who can barely read above 5th-grade level has all the answers? Riiiight.
