Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
When he is riffing with his mates its fine. Sometimes he lucks into a line of enquiry - I can't listen for too long but I can sort of understand why he has got the stoner/jock audience
He is the most popular in world no?
Id guess he has a very wide ranging audience

Really?
That's surprising. All my 'progressive' friends assure me people like Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson are rabid right wingers.
Maybe I need new friends?
I'm a big fan of Rogan, never smoked weed and certainly no jock, I am a boomer yoga devotee who loves trekking though so I guess you can add that demographic to Joe's listening base
All blokes love to hear the sound of other guys riffing that's why he is so popular BUT needs a producer with some control
I think JB was part of the candia socialist group at one stage - Rogan talks a bit about the upside of left wing from the little I've listened to him.
Even if it's playing devil's advocate.
Both seem more nuanced than left right wing, I think. People wanted them banned /.censored would only grow the audience
Why? The lack of control seems to be part of the charm.
That's one of those "I used to be in the socialist left at Uni" - no one wanks over the status quo more than JP. Imagine making a career from "women are chaos" - he's am embarrassment to academics everywhere. He should also stay in his lane - FFS why start commenting on diets and climate change
Derek and Clive's Soul Time is pretty classy.I used to listen to chunks of it, or the whole episode if there was someone really interesting on. Other podcasts generally took my interest away over time.
There was sort of funny stuff when he was talking with his friends but it seemed like it was often LA comedy scene talk or Fear Factor or which drug they were on whatever. I suppose it might give a teenager a thrill to be in on that conversation but... you know. I'm too bald for that to be titillating. They're no Derek and Clive, matey!
He was very sick and his diet saved his life. His wife and daughter similar.
He also says it's just his personal experience and doesn't recommend it to others.
He can say whatever he wants no one is forcing you lot to listen or read him

I think my point MP is that no one else caters for that jock/blokey/stoned riffing audience
I'm pretty progressive and I don't think that.
who else does it. The Chapo Boys and Cum Town if you are a left winger?time to make $100m filling that gap after he gets cancelled?
“Said nobody ever” - i had a plumber over here the other day and he told me he had just split up with his wife. I asked why and he said “she was the victim of woke ideology”Good to know there's a few of you out there with the intestinal fortitude to resist suffocating peer pressure and think for yourselves.
Progressive types I talk to often feel forced to blindly suspend logic and commonsense in support of increasingly desperate narratives.
i was just saying they have a similar approach but a lot of JRE listeners will never listen to Chapo - is that supposed to be funny? Marx himself said “Capital will sell us the rope by which we hang them” - fancy a podcast being driven by sponsors - what a blinding insight
