You can't really base the outcome of a game on one player, especially when you're talking about Mr Cheap Kicks himself. you couldn't really say he is what Pav is to Freo.

I decided to keep Bowden in this week as he will hopefully not play and thus not go down in price, if Goddard can remain uninjured for 2 weeks then I'll bring him in, otherwise it'll be Milburn.

Wallace will be sacked after they lose this week by 100+ points. What a moron.

Cant say that Wallace is a moron. Richmond were never going to go any where with Bowden and Newman doing kick to kick in the back pocket. He made the correct move as a coach for his team by moving Bowden to the midfield. He didnt perform so he made a statement to all his players by dropping him. I dont think he shuld have dropped him but he could have always experimented Bowden in the forward line or something. In the end Wallet dosent coach for us to do well in Supercoach. As a Bowden owner/supercoacher i know where people are comming from but most Richmond supporters are quite happy with the decision. As amazingly as Bowden does in Supercoach we tend to forget that he isnt that greater player. If i had a team i would much rather pick foley, newman or deledio ahead of him. As im not a richmond supporter and want to do well in supercoach hopefully we see him lining up next week and get 1000000 kicks as he used to:thumbsu:

As opposed to Peter Burgoyne, who had 41 disposals for 120 points last week. Whatever mate. Piss off.

Wallace blows chunks. So glad the swans screwed him over. Alas, Ibbo and Proud are my emergencies in the backs so I'm now down to 21 fit players. At least Stanton stood up last night (finally).

I have to confess I traded Bowden out for Johncock. Maybe rash but I need guys who are definitely going to play, plus it saved me some cash.

This will get very interesting now, theres absolutely no way hes gonna play hes traditional back pocket role again, am thinking on swapping for p burgoyne, milburn or gilbee thoughts?

All good options. Is it a coincidence that Jordan McMahon scored 139 this week? If he was going to stay there all year I'd consider bringing him in, but if Bowden is back in the side this week then I'll probably trade him out.

I like Gilbee but Milburn tends to be more consistent. Port don't look like having the best year so not sure how this will effect burgers score, hasn't done Chornes any harm though.

Maybe mate, this was almost the best ive seen richmond play in 2-3 years and lol u can only guess y

Milburn is extremely consistent however don't expect any huge scores. He will range from 100 to 120 consistently. (that being said the bastard scored 75 on the weekend).

I'm not a huge fan of P.Burger. 41 touches in round 3 for a pretty 'average' score considering.

Gilbee is a little out of form, however I like him. I've got Gilbee and Milburn in my side. Gilbee's SC/DT ratio is usually awesome which means even out of form he's ok and if he gets going he will rip it up.

Depending on the make up of your side I'd go Gilbee (need big scores but can ride out lower ones) or Milburn (need consistent scores).

I'm not trading him for atleast 2 weeks, my next 4 trades are pretty much locked unless something like the Hall drama happens (touch wood).

If he doesn't come back or plays like crap then he'll get the boot, possibly for Drummond or Kennely.

Doesn't look like he'll be coming back any time soon, and even if he does I doubt he'll be able to recapture former glories with the coaching staff looking to move him about.
I'm going to bite the bullet this week and bring in Goddard before his price rise.

*sob*

If only I could...

I love Brendon.

I'm just annoyed that I have to wait until tomorrow afternoon before I can properly think about trading- maybe there's a slim chance I can get him in.
And I'll get to see him in action tomorrow night.

It's all good...:thumbsu:

Well enough is enough. If Richmond wont bring him back this week theres no point having 600k sitting on my bench for god knows how long.

Traded.

I've lost respect for one T.Wallace. As coaches go, he is now officially an Arseclown.

He has sacked the 1 player that holds up my backline, so justice dictates that he too will get sacked before long.

Nuff said

just sold Bowden for Guerra ... made some cash too , but mainly didnt want to take the zero on the field with Taylor and Thompson not playing on my bench

Just hope the trade was worth it

Bowden kicked 3 goals and was named in the Age as Coburg's best in their loss against Port Melbourne yesterday in the VFL.

Surely will be back next week after Richmond lose today...

just read an article on my phone about Richmond.

Wallace claims that little change will be made to the side and that "its not how players play offensively but how they play defensively that will determine if they come back into the side" thats presumably a crack at Bowden's 3 goals.

He has been b.o.g. for 2 weeks in a row for ****s sakes.

sigh.

Yeh im thinking that bowden tag as a sc gun are finished, if richmond continue there form at the moment, i think that people such as couglan, cotchin will be ahead of bowden, even if he does manage to crack into the side, there is little possibility he will average better than 90

http://www.richmondfc.com.au/tabid/6...x?newsid=58340

"Wallace said Joel Bowden would be unlikely to return this week after performing well in Coburg’s loss to Port Melbourne in the VFL, while Trent Cotchin and Mark Coughlan would not be considered for the time being.
“The VFL side lost badly in a game they were expected to win and the AFL side performed very well. I don’t think we’ll be making a lot of changes to the structure of the side,” he said."

**** you Wallet. From the bottom of my heart **** you.

He has been BOG for Coburg two weeks in a row. What the **** do you want from him? Insted you have chumps like McGuane running around.

**** you.

That is all.

Like patrolling the BJ boards, I'm one of the SC'ers who didnt get him.:thumbsu:

I wonder if he's worth picking up later when he's back in the team?

how low can he go??????

has a player ever dropped down to $90,000?????
