So I'm not keeping track - is this the third week he's missed (assuming he's not playing this weekend)? If so, how is holding onto him any more sensible than holding onto Hall until he comes back from his suspension? For all we know, Bowden might miss 5 or 6 weeks, or even more! I say just cut your losses now and move on, as everyone has done with Hall.

I originally assumed he would only miss one week as a kick up the bum.

When he wasn't named last week i gave him one more week mainly because I wanted to get McKinley and Woenamirri before their price rise.

He is a chance to play this week, plus I wanted Kornes and Buddy before their price rises.

So if he doesn't play by next weekend he is gone.

I would rather keep him, trading away guns hurts your team.

Playing VFL and first possession got bumped out by a smaller player, then didnt chase and they kicked a goal.

Dont bank on him returning any time soon if that keeps up.

Yeh, I'm kicking myself for not getting Ladson and J.King as I told my mate I'll get him both but then I chickened out as I thought $500K for Ladson and J.King (2nd year player) at $410K was pretty pricey.. but I"m happy with Mattner and Kennelly (maybe things could change when Malceski is back)

My decision was made easier with the fact that if i didn't trade i'd wear a 0 this week with Cornes out injured.

Plus he has been playing as a Forward at coburg.. no more cheap kick to kick for Bowden.

So annoyed. Loss of 60k and a trade. Stupid Bowden.

If Bowden does return it's very unlikely to be in the backline in his old role (at least not for any more than part of a game), so if I had him (which I fortunately don't) I wouldn't think twice about trading him at the price he's currently at.
