Looked and played like a whole different player. Comparisons to the mean machine were floating around our group last night too. Hey he kicked four goals in a (short) career best performance. There's something to be said for a statement hair do I think!

Everything about him last night screamed "Weapon". He looks like the sort of player who can really intimidate, and he can actually score goals. We could have been doing with him in defence last night too. But I wish he'd grow his hair back. He'll be bald soon enough.

I've been calling for him to be played all year, down back or up forward. He'd do a fantastic job anywhere to be honest, even in the midfield. One of the truly versitile players we have,

Am I remembering correctly that 2 of his goals were created by his fierce tackling earning a free kick? If so, what a fantastic example for a 4th gamer to give to the rest of the team. Give big second efforts and keep the pressure on at all times and the rewards will come.

Correct, 2 were from tackles (holding the ball), one was from a crumbed snap and the last was from a marked lead in the fwd pocket.
