They can have it either way. Either he gets credit for making the grand finals and takes the blame for the utter shit we are serving up at the moment, or he isn't to blame for the current situation and doesn't deserve credit for making grand finals.
I'm not fussed which interpretation people want to go with, as long as it is consistent.
It's as selfish as McHack's determination to play in the GF and it's proof it doesn't work!Probably because we have heaps of injured players already and he thought he could play through the pain like he had done a number of times before.
Didn't work, but good on him for having a go I reckon.

Will be offered around $650k by Vic clubs apparently.I reckon Reid will be gone
Won't leaveIs it good or bad if we lose Reid?
Horse on OTC
JB: Hows Buddy
JL: Going well. He needs to improve defensively. He needs help forward and hopefully will get it in the next couple of weeks
More worried about Longmire saying he has put contract talks on holdhttp://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/a...s/news-story/3379d56bb60d98306662851bd404a7b3
This is the bit on Reid. Mods can move if they like but I believe it's relevant to the conversation.
Id change this to laughable!Players play through pain all the time, and it's laudable, not selfish.
They're waiting on the bargaining agreement don't forget.More worried about Longmire saying he has put contract talks on hold
Hang on, how do you know it was Jack pushing to play? How do you know it wasn't the coaches going to Jack and saying something along the lines of "look we know you're injured but we already have heaps of players out and we really need you to try to play through the pain so we have some experience on the park"?It's as selfish as McHack's determination to play in the GF and it's proof it doesn't work!

They should know better. You can do far more damage playing with injury!Hang on, how do you know it was Jack pushing to play? I'd put my contract talks on hold until the new salary cap is announced.More worried about Longmire saying he has put contract talks on hold

Damn right. Can't blame Jack for playing week in week out. Solely on the match committee to decide whether he's good enough to play or not.I don't get it. Do you want players to be ruling themselves out the moment they get a bruise in a tackle?
If players didn't play through injuries, you'd barely get a team on the park. L
He's probably been pushing through significant pain to try and make a contribution. Good on him. It's up to the match committee to select the side.
