Id suggest reading the writing on the wall and plannin ahead like before worked out ok.
Can't believe that people want a coach sacked that has made a prelim for the last 5 years.
6 game losing streak is long enough for some. Even if we win some will complain about the way we won. I'd just be happy for a win at this stage. Can't believe that people want a coach sacked that has made a prelim for the last 5 years.

Very true but Longmire can't out coach the umpires in that one.7 games actually.
One if those was pretty important as well.
Who would you go with in a rebuild? Rookie or experienced coach? Could burn through a few coaches if we get it wrong and sit down the bottom for a fair while.I do want him gone but considering his contract he's not going anywhere.

We've been rebuilding on the go in a way. Rebuilding has a lot to do with the whole coaching and development staff than the head coach imo.Who would you go with in a rebuild? Rookie or experienced coach? Could burn through a few coaches if we get it wrong and sit down the bottom for a fair while.
True we've had 21 debuts since 2014. Longmire is on a long deal but we could turn over a couple of assistants to bring in new ideas. We've been rebuilding on the go in a way. Rebuilding has a lot to do with the whole coaching and development staff than the head coach imo.

The coach who is currently 0-6 with one of the games great forwards in his prime and cant score over 80 points a game is more accurate
McCartney did a great job probably lost the players because he was so tough on their development.Brendan McCarthy did a good job rebuilding the Dogs and handed Bevo a true work in progress.
Just one thought. I mean there are options everywhere. That ex carlton guy whose name escapes me assistant to Clarkson is not terrible and I thought hard done by.
I voted to not sack Horse btw.
I want him to evolve and win the players back.
If we have anymore coaching threads we are going to resemble the Collingwood/Buckley threads. Why the hell is dew assumed to be our next coach
Run a proper process whenever it happens
Maybe another thread?

The world's greatest midget coach had Franklin for how many years without a flag?
How many flags did Woosha win with a midfield that consisted of Cousins/Kerr/Judd?
According to you the Roos family of coaches are complete duds and yet they have won 2 flags (+ 1 draw) and played in 8 grand finals in the last 12 years. (2014 was a stinker, 2016 we wuz robbed).
Game plan is but one of the problems. Would probably be easier (not to mention far cheaper) to whisper into Horse's ear that the game plan needs a tweak, don't you think?
