I read a post that he was one of our most talented.

Now I know very little about the guy. When he's in the 1s, he's under my radar a but and I don't see the 2s play. What are the thoughts on him? Is he a chance/expected to be more than a "depth" player?

He played some ripping games 08 I think it was especy in finaLs. Injury has kept him ou of alot of games over the last few years. MLthouse loves him as shown by his rapid inclusions into the side and gloating of him at press conferences. Has him up with dick as having the most natural footy ability at the club. Last year of his contract so it willbe interesting to see what happens to him and rusling... My guess is one more yeAr while rusling is shown the door :(

He actually had a pretty good pre season, but it seems his body just struggles to keep up with the riggers of football on a weekly basis during the season.

His hamstrings are his greatest concern, and the recurring injury that seems to "bite him" the most.

He has a huge amount of natural talent, but whether his body will allow him to play AFL is another question.

My comparison is a medium sized Leigh Walker, who had all the talent in the world but just couldn't get on the park for more then 2-3 games in a row.

Not as bad as Rusling or Walker re injuries though at the moment, as they are not long term injuries, but he would have to show something towards the end of this year, or else his name would at least come up during delisting talks.

I'd say he will be on our list next year anyway, mainly due to the crappy nature of the draft.

doesn't deserve its own thread.. that being said he is about the 34th best player on our list plenty of other players to talk about. move on.
