vinny that's a great picture of the night you've given us - most of us could only dream of being that embedded into the club - well done - you sound like a very humble but committed supporter - heart and soul, mateWhen you head up the escalator with your boy & the staffer is trying to confiscate the table decorations off everyone then you hear from the crowd below “ a kid got the whole teams autographs !”.....
Had an awesome time last nite - great to be amongst it. Assisted Jeanne to her table, introduced my boy to SOS as we dropped off a letter from him saying how wants to play for carlton & USB full of this seasons foto’s, the Prez always greets me with a “gday Ric” which spins me out as i’m Quite an insignificant fellow in the scheme of carlton things, got to wish ASOS all the best, had a great chat with a fine young man in Matt Kennedy who i’ve Been supporting offield in a small way & met his parents as well, bid on & won a 2 day coaching “apprentice” roll for my boy including a match day in rooms day. Awesome nite out with my son.

Its what we cant see that impresses. She looked beautiful but wasnt “out of control” so to speak. No whale tail g bangers or too much showing. Google boobs arent usually classy looking.Lol you guys know you can google boobs any time you want, right?
Hey Vinnie, I see mr Cattogio a fair bit driving around in his truck full of paint. Loves a punt as well , often frequenting the greensborough TAB . Great carlton manSimple solution is too accept us simple men are easily distracted by simply natural beauty...
Yeah i met him at a carlton lunch a few years ago & told him that as a young boy of italian heritage he was a great inspiration to many young italian boys. He was pretty moved by it, mentioned me & my comments to the lunch crowd he was speaking to. Spiro Kourkamelis is a customer of mine as well & probably is not that much older than me (47) yet i go all football nerd & chat to him all the time because he also was a “wog” like me. He probably looks up & thinks “oh god, Rics there” when he comes in but those guys did pave a path for others.Hey Vinnie, I see mr Cattogio a fair bit driving around in his truck full of paint. Thank you so much for those words.vinny that's a great picture of the night you've given us - most of us could only dream of being that embedded into the club - well done - you sound like a very humble but committed supporter - heart and soul, mate![]()
Vinnie, this might sound a bit weird but we have 3 things in common.....Thank you so much for those words.
I’m trying to be the best example i can for my boys. When i got diagnosed with cancer a few years ago my greatest dread was not being there to help bring them up to be the men i want them to be. Taking them to these functions lets them see football, as in life, isnt always red carpets & adoring fans - they speak to the players & hear of the sacrifice, the dedication, the injuries & rehab, the hard work it takes to succeed & even then in life sometimes it still doesnt go your way.
Again - thank you.
That's fantastic! You're creating so many brilliant memories for your boy (and you of course!)--he will never forget the time you're spending with him now. Glad you guys had such an awesome night. When you head up the escalator with your boy & the staffer is trying to confiscate the table decorations off everyone then you hear from the crowd below “ a kid got the whole teams autographs !”.....
