That is a bad sign for SPS.

He played 22 games in 2018. Only Cripps played the same amount of games on the list.

To not finish in the top 10 means he has been below coach expectations for performance a lot.

Fisher finished 7th with only 17 games, Jones 6th with 17 games.

He is too good not to be finishing top 10 even in his second year after 22 games. Hopefully the main issue is just finally a good pre season. He has the tools, if he has a good pre season he has to deliver in 2019.

Just popped in to see the results , 3 of the top 5 ....6 of the top 10 , all on the wrong side of the mountain. Just wonder if it's the boot up the arse some of the young boys need to push harder for longer . Not the first and nor be the last time BnF voting is used to "send a message " to players/player .

You have to earn votes, not given on potential. But you're right to a degree,
Weitering and sps would no doubt be disappointed with their years, hopefully they have a big preseason and show why they're highly rated within our group. If public feedback on in form of a bnf is what drives them to perform better, then I have no issue with that.

LOB, SPS, Dow all spent allot of time up forward with spurts in the middle, I have full faith they will all be players. That, and it's pretty hard to get the ball when it's up the other end of the oval majority of the game!

Most teams B&Fs are being won by a couple of votes. 50% more than 2nd place must be some kind of record. 4 times as many votes as 10 place is also unheard of in a b&f.

Says a lot about our season unfortunately
