When Cripps collects his medal, he'll become the 22nd Carlton player to win multiple B&Fs - he'll join 14 of them in winning twice. Five chaps have three of them, Doull has four, and of course the bloke with his name on the medal leads the way with five.

Crippa could end up anywhere on this list, with his current career trajectory - but if we're to become a better team, he's going to need some mates stealing votes (and medals) from him in the years to come.

He is an outstanding player, no doubt if he stays at the Blues he will pick up half a dozen by the time his career is done...irrespective if he's playing in a good side or not! He is that good.

He’s only played 4 seasons ( a token 3 games in 2014, also interrupted due to injury).

And 2017 was cut short by a broken leg which would have cost him the B & F.

He probably should be lining up for number 3 next Friday night.

Not a bad list of contenders. There are not many more you could fit into that list given the injury toll. Perhaps Lamb and Wright who played plenty of games.

I think Ed was OK throughout the season. He got locked into a number of one on one roles in the back half of the season. As we know with Ed he’ll never not give 100% even if he’s not having a great game. He loves the contest.
