I drank Crownies and bet on the dogs last Monday night,in honour, something Browny might do more often now.

I cannot say how much I enjoyed watching him play.

The end of Browny and the obvious ties to the team's past success is hard to swallow.

Just popping by to pay tribute to one of the absolute champions of the game. One of the most courageous players, that always gave it his all and didn't shirk from a contest and instead thrived on it. His ability to take pack and contested marks and kick match winning goals will never be forgotten, Jonathan Brown has been a worthy and frankly imposing foe on the field and a person l would love to buy a beer for. Congrats to him.

I haven't been able to contribute to this discussion because I couldn't find the words to describe the way I felt.
Browny was the only true Lion, not a Brisbane lion or a Fitzroy Lion, he was a Lion. Apart from the premierships
he was the glue that bound these two clubs together. A few weeks ago after the Carlton game I retaliated against
some wank who called Browny a dog of a man, and I received a seven day ban, big deal it was worth every second.
This is the man that has bound the Bears and Fitzroy into one, more than anyone could ever do, and I am thankful
for that. Holy crap I will miss you dude.

What a great farewell it was tonight for the People's Champ.

Browndog you are a fantastic footballer and a fantastic person. We are so lucky to have had you as the heart and soul of our team for so long. Without doubt you will go down in history as one of our all time Club greats - Fitzroy, Bears and Brisbane Lions history combined.

For years now you have been my favourite player, the backbone of the Lions, and someone to look up to on and off the field.

Thank you for giving so much for our Club, you have well and truly earned your retirement.

Browny you are a bloody legend!

Cheers!

When Browny walked his circuit at half-time, I stood and gave him one of his famous one-finger salutes, hoping that it might catch on. Saw a few others doing it down near the fence, but imagine the mood if he had have been saluted by an entire stadium like that!

Still, at least I can say I was there.

If there's one person who deserves some love too, it's the great Mrs. Kylie Brown. Amazing woman, from what I heard made it to the game! And a few days after giving birth too!

It really dawned on me last night as he marched out to the team what a special night last night was. JB has had a profound impact on me growing up. Happy now he can rest and move on, and equally excited for the team to start shaping it's post brown identity.

She did indeed and (in a non-creepy way) looks fantastic in tight jeans already/still.
Gave us a peek at Macy as well.:thumbsu:

It was a fantastic night, the rain was bloody annoying, but it didn't matter. Great win, great night, I was there with my boy to see him off.

Browny coming onto the field at full time was fantastic.

I cant help feeling that he is a bit relieved it is over, he got taken out on his shield rather than just peter away.
