JOR looked promising the year before last, as if a year without injuries would see get a run.

The fact he has had a good run without injury, and, Seemingly, isn't getting close to selection, does make you think he is going to have to pull something special out in the remainder of the year

While I would love to see JOR and Lovell get a chance at a higher level.
Who knows next year, JOR, Lovell and Lewis, might become the new O’Brien, Langers and Duryea on this board in 12 months time. No different when we had Taylor, Murphy and Shoenmakers in the same side from 09 - 12. There will always be players that supporters will want to scapegoat, while ignoring the mistakes of their favourite players.

Jono is by far a much better user of the footy, can play inside or out, on a back flank and I'm sure could go forward and give us more than Langers.

Can’t help but think that jor has some outside issues which he is struggling to overcome. This kid clearly has talent yet can’t crack a game in a side which has a very shallow midfield

Not getting a senior game doesn't mean he has 'issues' outside of footy. He was the travelling emergency last night (Glass was always going to play) and he's strung more games together this season than any other. He's fit and firing but guys like Langford somehow keep getting picked. He (and some others at Box Hill) deserve a shot. If it doesn't work, so be it, but how do you know until you try.

It's not like playing O'Rourke would hurt the clubs chances of winning. He couldn't do any worse than Langford as a midfielder. O'Rourke can kick and is a fairly good clearance player.
