Half our bloody midfield out plus we have basically no depth, this means Gilmore will stay in the team :(
 
Chick told an umpire that he was struck by J. Carr and Carr has been offered a fortnight. Hopefully there isn't any footage or umpire witnesses.
 
Apparently because CHick said it happened so the MRP have ruled Carr out for 2 weeks. WTF.....when has a player ever been able to make a report?

I havent heard anything about him getting 2 weeks, there is no way they would suspended him based ENTIRLEY on someones word without going to the tribunal first.
 
So Braun tells the umpire "hey Josh hit me!" so now he's reported? That's even worse than Damon White on Dodd especially if Carr didn't do it.

From the AFL website:

Investigations by AFL Investigations Officer Bill Kneebone resulted in the charges against Carr and Selwood. Carr may miss the next two weeks after being charged with striking Eagle Daniel Chick.

The incident was assessed as a level-three offence. Carr has been suspended for three matches within the last three years which increases his penalty by 30 per cent to 292.50 points. He also has 25 demerit points carried over from within the past 12 months, which increases his penalty to 317.50 points and a three-match sanction. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to 238.13 points and a two-match sanction.


Anyone that saw what Carr was doing to Stenglein after he got the free kick in front of goal would not be surprised that he belted someone shortly after. If Connolly had any brains at all, Carr should have been taken from the ground then.

Well, I'm sorry but it was a fair call. Pull them off, and deal with it. I don't care if its Pavlich, pull anybody off if they are going to do the selfish stuff.
Duffield's stuff in the Worst today was spot on. Too many of our blokes are keen to congratulate the flashy, and not the hard behind the scene stuff.

Carr used to get away with this sort of garbage all the time at Port.

Seriously, I can understand how fed up you guys must be getting with the lack of discipline. Is it an instuction to go out and be physical? Or is it just that the players have no self-control?
 
How many weeks did brown get for cracking car in the grand final?
