Josh played today as someone who has had the brakes finally released. His performance today was very similar to the 2004 GF where he took on most of the Lions outfit in the first quarter, didn't take a backward step. His Power teammates walked taller because of it.

He is now coach by someone who understands him wants the mongrel back instead of the outside midfielder connoly tried to turn him into.

Josh played today very much like one J. Worsfold who set the bar many years ago. Dermy (a noted Josh Carr fan) would have been beside himself!

Freo fans had a reason to boo 'the decision' of Judd winning the medal last year. Carr was clearly BOG today. Well done.

Not going to lie I was def going for freo today, but CARR played great, if he didn't win the medal I would of gone nuts, best on ground by a absolute mile and well done on getting stuck into ben and the other tools

Did anyone who posted here actually go to the game or did they just see all the replays of some of his best work on TV?

Now i'm not saying Josh played crap far from it he was back to his niggly best, but, i guarantee you his disposals and decision making at times was as crap as it has been all year.
Maybe he has turned a corner or just lifted for this one. Will see next week...

I had an absolute ball sitting amongst a heap of feral weagles bitching and moaning about the umpires, Josh and their own players.

It was much more fun this week than last and i'm actually looking forward to next week's game now (which i wasn't for todays).

Whilst there is still a heart beat theres hope so lets hope the boys can back up and try and get a roll on..

I hope like hell Murphy gets dropped if he plays again like he did today, he could barely kick the ball 40m!?)

I am glad Josh won the medal as he was ripped off when Juddy got it a couple of years ago when he was clearly BOG, not sure if he was BOG today overall, but he was the best at annoying Kerr which was great to see!

No, they are rules, and they can be infringed. The penalty is a free kick. The umpires make those decisions. For "laws" we have things like Booze buses to catch people who are breaking them, or police to question people who are witnesses at shootings, or illegaly obtaining drugs through forged prescriptions, drug dealers, other low-life etc.

easily BOG... 27 possessions 3 goals... made a few eagles forget about footy for periods of the game...
