I am extremely happy that Rogan is in career best and it should give him a heap of confidence next time he meets Dean Cox after beating him a few weeks ago.
Does anyone think that Josh will be right to captain the club next year. Personally I think that Nick Maxwell would make a super captain as he gives 110% each time he wears the black and white, hates being beaten and is very disciplined which I like. He could grow into the role while under the guidance of Clement, Buckley, Burns etc each of whom may be finished in two years time.
My big question is that I think Stretch Richards is a fair player in his own right but is a poor mans Josh Fraser in that he doesn't have the ablity to go forward and kick a few when resting. I think we would get a reasonable trade for Guy who is a tap ruckman like Frase and I think it would be better to have a bash and crash back up ruckman behind Josh as Richards is in the same slim mould as the lad from Mansfield. It would be good to have some variety and someone who doesn't put up with the crap from Charman and Minson who are nearly all arms and legs. I think Fraser is the most skilled ruckman in the league with Lade and Cox.
Some would say that Cam Cloke is a good bash and crash ruckman but personally I think he struggles big time. Travis should be the only Cloke we keep in 2007.

I don't think Guy Richards would actually be worth alot to other clubs, but provides us with depth. Cameron Cloke should be a good player, but he just has to get his act into gear (literally). Travis Cloke has showed he is not going to be a ruckman, and is more damaging as a presenting CHF.

We have to remember that Richards is an injury prone ruckman in which his peak may have been early 2004, but let's hope not. 'Stretch' has been on the list for a very long time. Drafted in 2000, the same year as Ryan Lonie. Lonie has played over 100 games now, while Guy is struggling to get to 20 games.

I don't think their is enough value in him to get a worth trade. I believe his career will end at Collingwood, and as a backup ruckman who plays 50-70% of games per season in games.

We have seen the versatility of Fraser, and the way he can actually ruck out 90% of a game. Cam Cloke is probably our 2nd best option due to his rucking ability which showed potential last season, plus he is a solid forward who can structure well down there.

I'd definitely consider Josh for Captain next year. My personal preference is Rocca. If he stays fit for the rest of 2006 I'd appoint him, if only for 2-3 years.

Re second ruck - still to early to tell. This is Richards first injury free season yet, while Cam Cloke is still developing. I still have faith that one of these two will be the answer. We need patience with the big men.

I think T3 is better suited to key position.
