Very poor choice in my opinion, considering they had many better options, Josh Fraser comes across as a very soft individual, definitely not captaincy material in my book .

Do you even follow football? Josh has played 156 games from 8 seasons, ie: 20 games on average a year

And it is a fact that Judd has an injury that may keep him off the park or at the very least hinder his performances

Like I said if you can't take it then don't dish it out in the first place

And yet despite all those games he is still yet to take a contested mark. Josh is a good athlete and plays as a tall ruckrover. He is however soft and not what Collingwood needs as a captain (or a ruckman !)

Good choice - Josh's heart belongs to Collingwood there's no questioning his loyalty, he just needs to keep that body of his going and he'll be a good club captain.

Go Tigers.

Weird comment directed at a bloke who probably averages just under 20 games per season over his career.

20 games a year for a team that's played finals more often than not. Over the last four years Fraser has missed at least 26 games of footy due to injury, and just because your playing doesn't mean your 100% fit.

you put too much faith in what R Walls has to say
oh yeah and he also said "he's got to get that school boy footy out of him"
I do??
Funny that, seeing as I don't even know what R Walls had to say.

suprising choice for mine, tought Maxwell was a certainty

Frsaer is a good choice .He is a natural leader and captaincy will sit well with him. Love Maxwell for his courage and leadership but on natural ability probably doesnt make our top 22.

Never a good look to have your captain running around in the 2's

26 games over 4 years. The 4 years before that he hardly missed a game.

Most players would take that during their career.

The concept of tough is changing in modern day football, you now need the mental and physical toughness to break the pain barrier and keep running when your opponent can't

It's more like a marathon race than boxing now, Fraser suits

Well you worry about your outside the 8 team and 30 something captain and we'll worry about who is in charge of the best batch of kids in the land
