LOL Gibson. What a hack.
Best Vic club in terms of players with vaginas
Or you could have just said: "I admit defeat, but in a vain attempt at saving face I will throw out the outdated line about how cash-strapped North is, now I will resume wacking off over Pelchen and Kennett".

Who knows but the fact we're probably closer to a premiership than the other clubs who'd beat our offer and that he barracked for Hawthorn growing up may help sway him.
Yes Gibson allgedly wanting out will see the end to our club. Meanwhile you still haven't answered my question. But you do not have the power to reply, so I guess I could taunt you all night.Don't get upset. Gibson is a hack. I just love seeing your club coming to an end soon.
So join in the line at Welfare and put the hand out for more![]()
JOSH Gibson may be the key domino in this year's trade period after telling North Melbourne this week he wants to be traded to Hawthorn.
Out of contract and out of the country, Gibson called the club from the US this week to inform them of his request to be traded to the Hawks.
A three-year deal worth about $850,000 is understood to be available to Gibson to join last year's premiers, who have been desperately searching for support for an under-manned defence.
I agree.the gloating and arrogance from some hawthorn posters in this thread is a disgrace.
Will the Roos even trade with North? Hmmm, let me think about that one for a moment or two. Will the Roos even trade with North after the Hay deal. I know I'd be reluctant.
How are you planning on getting your hands on Melbourne's pick #18?Josh Gibson and Pick 18
for
Pick 9 and Pick 25
Josh Gibson and Pick 18
for
Pick 9 and Pick 25
Hawks get a young, versatile, proven quality player and an upgraded 2nd round pick
North Melbourne get pick 9, giving them two top 10 picks in this years draft.
I doubt anyone would look at that deal and not realise that it is very much win-win.
From today's AGE:
Gibson asks for trade to Hawks
Now can we have some serious discussion?
The second round pick is about right, though I think he is probably worth slightly more.
You will need to trade to get a better 2nd round pick then. We will not trade him to you for 25, no chance.Agree, second round pick is about right.
Hawks will offer third round, Roos will want first round and they'll end up agreeing on second round, pick 25.
You will need to trade to get a better 2nd round pick then. We will not trade him to you for 25, no chance.
Already dealt with.ok mods it's about time you guys give Mcchawk a looong rest.
this unwell in the head moron is a serious troll with a long history of it.
Unless Brad Scott is of a similar view to that of North fans. Which is, Gibson is behind Hansen, Thompson and Grima for defensive positions. And behind 8 players in the midfield. It could be the new coach sees Gibson as back-up, then a solid 2nd round pick could be adequate.I could see Brad Scott putting his foot down and sending him to the PSD, to send a message that he won't be ****ed with. Can't see Gibbo getting anywhere near Hawthorn in the PSD, especially with a cashed-up Sydney on the lookout for a replacement for Leo Barry. I could see Gibbo fitting in very well in the Sydney structure. So Hawthorn would know the PSD is not the answer, so it depends on how badly they want him?
The only way we would accept Pick 25 is if it comes with a player, maybe Thorpe or Dowler? Hawk fans seem to forget that Gibson is a 25 year old that is in our best 22 and will be in the top 10 of our B & F. I wouldn't think pick 25 alone will get this deal done and can Hawthorn risk playing chicken and waiting till the last minute?
If you're offering a player around 300K a season, then you'd be willing to give over pick 9 for him.
You dont offer players worth around a second rounder 300K a season.
