Kelly will accept an offer far more conservative than North's proposition. The chance for Josh to reunite with his best mate Jack & to play under Richo who his players see as a father figure is too much to refuse. I'm hearing he wil sign for 450-500k pa.

You must mean uncle Ameet.I thought that was Ameet?

Two dads yo
Richo would wear the pants for sure.
100% so he will go to man united.Word is that Kelly doesn't want to sign a long term deal (a la North's 9 year offer) due to the belief that the salary cap will continue to rise, thus meaning he will miss out on some good pay in the future.

I think you'll find that most AFL players would half a clause in their contract that if the CBA rises their pay rises with it.
That's serious.I could see something around 5 million over 6 years.
Tactically North shouldn't even bother. It's patching over holes in a team that needs a rebuild. Just prolongs the pain as Kelly would probably lift the Kangas 2-5 spots on the ladder ensuring worse picks at each consecutive draft.

I can see Saints interest but hope GWS can hold onto him as their window is different to the Blues window of 4-5 years in the future. Hoping Carlton can steal Hopper but doubt it will happen if Kelly goes.
EFA as its all he will be looking at.Josh's trade choices.
1) 9 years x $1,000,000
2) 6 years x $1,000,000 .
Just emotion? He stays.
Josh's trade choices.
1) North. The club his father played for and the club he grew up supporting + 9 years x $1,000,000 + A rapidly rebounding developing young list.
2) A club with whom he has no connection that has a history so bad they include write ups of their reserves and under 19 premierships in order to fill up their wiki page + 6 years x $1,000,000 + a young list that has been a slooooow burner.
The choice is that there is no choice. It's option 1.
