I just reckon that in particular really wouldn't impact his decision to be honest, if Saints miss out of Dusty, Whitfield, Fyfe then they could go hard at Kelly. Currently Saints have a 'war chest' to play with, and with CBA increasing it's only going to be even more in terms of $$, and I'm sure norths offer is accounting for the increase.

+mill they need to spend next year. Just can't see how the saints can offer anything to sway him.

To those saying St Kilda can't match Norths deal you're very much mistaken. Plenty of money to spend at St Kilda but the key is whether or not we get any other players we want before Kelly.

I will say though that we have a lot of currency in terms of picks to trade and a good trading relationship with the Giants so who knows what will end up happening

Yeah that's how I took it too. No surprise really. GWS have so many guns coming through that will need bigger contracts.

I always thought if Kelly wants to go to North it will be draft picks. Probably 2x 1st round picks

It just comes down to where he wants to play. As is always the case. Clubs rarely dictate terms

However, I doubt GWS are that stupid to allow that to happen.
