I ask the question again, why would appeal to josh kelly?
the money, yes, obviously.
the blokes, maybe, a young group, so he would probably fit in well.

But besides that there's nothing really attractive about going to north.

the same happend with st kilda years back when they were intrested in sloane.

If your not winning games and playing infront of woeful crowds, it's hard to get a bloke with kelly's ability to come to your club.

Robbo's tackle:

9. JOSH KELLY

It is said Kelly is at St Kilda next year. Who knows what’s going to happen, but the Giants would be nervous, seeing as it’s Round 20 and Josh Kelly hasn’t signed a new contract. He’s a more-rounded player than at the start of the season, too. He’s spent more time forward over the past three weeks as the Giants try to find different options. Kelly played 85 per cent midfield and 15 per cent forward in Rounds 1-17. In the Rounds 18-20, he has spent 68 per cent midfield and 32 per cent forward. He kicked three goals and had 27 disposals against Melbourne and arguably was best afield.

Josh kelly signed at north for 9 years, because the crowds of 15 k each week are too hard to resist.

Why are people avoiding answering this question?

I think they are completely out of touch with understanding human nature.

If these "anti small club" arguments had any basis then every player in the AFL would be at Collingwood.

Timing is everythings we both played at home this weekend:
Saints 22k
Roos 33k

Each week?
North played the Pies a derby.
They played an interstate side.

That's because we probably won't improve. Adelaide's future first will only be a 1-4 pick down grade. Possibly 18 to 19. It's not hiding anything it's plain and simple. Yes it's asking Adelaide to gamble because they are the team wanting a contracted player and are aiming for a premiership. It's a very small gamble considering the stakes.

We won't even give up two firsts if he nominates us. It'll be something like pick 2 and 20 odd and if we can't get a pick around that it'll be our future second.
So if Josh Kelly nominates Carlton, you'll get him for unders, but if Gibbs nominates adelaide, they'll agree to 2 firsts and a massive gamble on pick upgrades? Terrible logic.

You'll get a single first for gibbs, and if you want kelly, that first will go with yours to GWS, at a minimum. The other teams won't do stupid complex deals just to suit Carlton

Nah, he's going to us because we're going to pay him a shitload of money.

Yep. Kelly is a star, but you're obviously the only club that is going to be offering him a big contract.

It's a done deal mate. I don't know why you're panicking so much...take a deep breathe.

Lol are you really comparing your opening home game against wce to ours in round what is it 20?

If anything it proves how poor North crowds are. You're supporters should be absolutely pumped for round 1, the first home game after playing finals the year before.

Here's the round 1 comparison:
St Kilda 36k
North 22k

Total attenandance:
St Kilda 608k
North 495k

Average home attendance:
St Kilda 31k
North 22k

One is contracted one is not.
Seriously why would we trade our best player who's contracted and on stuff all money when a future second would be enough to go with pick 2 for Kelly.
I also don't see how the pick upgrades are a massive gamble. We have gone backwards this season we would be relying on North, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Freo all going backwards next season to get out of the bottom four also Adelaide should only get better

Means absolutely nothing, you're using biased data. Did you remove the outlying data from your calculations...? I expect not!

Given NM play several home games at Blundstone Arena with a capacity of 20k, you're using skewed data to prove you're point.

Just accept that whilst NM are a smaller club and therefore draw small crowds, St Kilda's numbers a only marginally better. Certainly NOT worth comparison for an argument sake, that's for sure!!!

Equally, given Saints have "apparently" rebuilt and "apparently" on the up, I would expect your crowd numbers to well and truly surpass the numbers you've reported.

Tell us did Wayne Carey crack on to your missus? I'm sure the word North is in everyone of your posts.
Oh well it's obvious we get under your skin. Richmond supporters know how to troll at least some of you guys are just outright embarrassing.

I didn't even bother raising the fact that StKildas match was crucial to their finals chances, so their fans should have been hanging from the rafters.

I have that poster on ignore for a good reason.
