Don't judge anyone until you have walked a mile in their shoes..... that way you can judge them while you're a mile away with their shoes!
Don't judge anyone until you've walked a miles in their shoes, unless they are wearing Crocs. They deserve all they get.

Seriously, I honestly thought that we had moved on from the initial, "Josh just needs to harden up" opinion.

Apparently not.

fair reflection of society though.

We have a long way to go.

**** of Bushie. He's a football player playing (on and off) for the Fremantle Football Club.

White, black, pink or ****ing orange, people are entitled to say HTFU.

But of course, you're trying to win a dick stroking competition here about who knows what about who's tribe, I'm a white abo etc etc.

It's ****ing football on a football forum. Personally, I couldn't give a **** where Josh comes from, I just know he's not pulling his weight.

Indeed.

Imagine if Charlie put aside 1% of those deals and ongoing royalties for future indigenous programs of integration, employment, health and education?

Complete and utter BS. Money won't fix those problems, it never has and never will. The white man throwing more money to fix the black mans problems. Sounds good.

No dick stroking contest here mate. Just trying to offer some genuine insight into an issue that very few people have any idea about.

Like others here, you can't see past your personal, white, moral code and values and can only judge Josh based upon those.

That's all well and good, but you're wrong. Totally wrong.

Yeah, f*** "em, they all need to harden up and just ASSIMILATE already, we're tired of paying these black bastards to sit on their arse!!

amirite?

If we could get the Aboriginal "industry", running in a manner where white, and black, bureuacrats aren't siphoning off the majority of the funds for touchy feely conferences and flash new Toyota's we might see that money go to the people who genuinely need it and get some tangible results.

Yep, dick stroking.

people have been saying that for 30 years. I grew up in the country in the 80s. Nothing has changed since then. Saying they need more money or bigger percentages is a fundamental misunderstanding of the problem.

Yep, dick stroking.

Tell us your solution then?

The "harden up Josh" group are big on vitriol and light on substance.

How has your theory worked so far?

We are possibly about to lose a highly talented kid because of it and everyone loses if that happens.

Oh yes, you have voiced your opinion about those "lazy black bastards down the street" before.

Another wheatbelt boy with a chip on his shoulder but f*** all understanding.

Pretty common story unfortunately.

Why has nothing changed in 40 years? 80 years? 150 years?

It's all dem lazy f***en coons fault of course.

So, if it's not more money/resources that are needed, then what is the problem?

I think you have me confused with someone else

Personal experiences mate, personal experiences. More than most who are making the decisions.

Its where the money is going, who controls it, particular families who control it. The dollars spent are achieving stuff all. I'm not sure the solution but pouring more money into the communities as suggested by sliceindice would have no impact.

LOL.

Wheatbelt boy goes to school and sees disadvantaged, displaced and down-trodden black people in town..

Dad and Mum says that they are lazy, good for nothing bludgers.

Children swallow this and move to the city holding this prejudice.

Rinse and repeat in tens of thousands of people.

Oh really?

I actually said this...

Which you conveniently ignored

Couldn't care less. He's an employee not doing what he's employed to do.

He hasn't exactly set the world on fire, so losing a two game player who doesn't commit to the cause doesn't worry me one little bit.

I also couldn't give a rats about a solution. Take it to SRP.

Hill was a punt relative to Rich. A good one but we overreached significantly.

Pitt was a punt above a known quantity in Darling.
I never thought Hill was a punt. I think anyone who did think that was an idiot. (Did you watch any pre-draft highlights of the two?)

Pitt was a bland, safe option as opposed to Darling who was a risk because of off field rumours.

Simpson had everything pre-draft to say he could make it as an AFL player - what warning signs were evident about him to suggest he wouldn't make it?
