No matter what he did yesterday, i reckon you would have still called it, dave. You've had your heart set on him being a steal since day one!
Hopefully in a few years time he turns out to be one, remember not so long ago we were struggling for midfield options? Looks like we've got a decent group at the moment, and some good stuff coming through.

I doubt it. Blair was excellent last year and still got no chance. Our midfield has greater depth this year too with Ball and each player a year older more mature. We would have to have a very serious run of injuries for him to make the seniors IMO. I'm hoping he has a good year in the VFL.

Well I hope not with Injuries - VFL down at Vic Park and Dominate there will be good.

Though Blair was on the Rookie list and JT is on the Senior List

If he's half as good as Beamsy then yeah, he was a bargain for a 5th round pick. As Quicky said though, I don't expect to see him in the seniors this year. There are plenty of guys pushing for selection ahead of him right now.

Maybe late season if he develops and injures occur. But expect 2011 debut.

i agree with a couple of others if he plays 5 or more 1s games we will barely make top 8 let alone top 4.

There are too many blokes who should be well in front of him regardless of how good he goes.

While my head agrees with most of you, unrealistic to play, we're in trouble if he does play.

I'll take the half full glass option this time & say if he does play it's because, he's banged the door down with outstanding performances that no one saw coming & then played great at senior level.
