Shame if true.

I stood up for him for longer than most, but realised by the end of the year that his footy problems actually extended further than OP related issues.

Good mark, ball magnet, but butchered the pill by foot, especially on the run (which he usually was due to being an outside type).

Has some good attributes, but ya have to carry the ball better and hit targets if you're to be an outside midfielder.

Agree 100% Figgy, I liked him

Wouldn't be Suprised!

He wasn't given much of a chance. A bit harsh.

I would have thought you can never have enough running ball carriers and thought there may have been others to go before him but I guess there must be something the coaching staff see we don't know about.

What they can see is that, comapred to other players on the list, Rowe wont get any better from where he's at now. He's not tall, he's not fast, he's not a great mark, he's not an inside player, he's not an outside player, he's not a good kick, he's not a forward, he's not a defender. He's just a good ordinary VFL standard footballer.

Correct weight.

Dunno if that's much of an endorsement though!

He's got ability, but has flaws. Only the medicos know just how much his OP has stuffed him up.

Wait and see, but it doesn't look good for the kid.

PS: Anyone taking pleasure in the delisting of an individual is a ****er! Might be good for the Club, but FFS, show some heart.

i think rowey should be given a chance... there's not much of him, so he woucld surely bulk up a bit.

there's blokes on the list such as walker, brent hall, c&j.cloke and fanning who should definately go before him.

Yeah, I suppose we're not privy to what the coaching staff see in terms of what goes on between the ears of the players.

How Walker has stayed on our list for so long beggars belief. Surely his time's up now?

I reckon that summation is accurate but wasn’t it apparent 12 months ago and should it have been on the radar at least pre draft? Deficiencies don’t suddenly materialise when player get drafted. We draft far too many flawed footballers. Rowe is just another example. There is generally something to like about them and something significantly career limiting. McGough is the classic example but many of the midfielders we have drafted are in that boat. We have to be much more critical of deficiencies. I don’t know if it is a Malthouse or a Judkins legacy but the club should damn well know and act accordingly.

Big rumour that Rowe got the flick this afternoon
Truly i think he is going to be a superstar. We forget that neither rhyce or Bjo could kick 2 years ago, he will mature and i will say this, i know its sacrilige, his movement and skills reminded me of Pants. he could be as good (without the mongrel) if he applied himself.

RS adn BJ always had pace and they aren't superstars anyway. Comparing Rowe to Pants isn't sacrilige it is lunacy. Millane was faster, stronger, braver, better skilled, better overhead and a meaner than Rowe and all of ot by a big margin.

Must have read too much into the Trade Value thread and realised there was no value AT ALL, and got rid of him quick.

I still haven't seen any news on a delisting of one of Hall, Walker or Fanning, which is a disgrace, if those two (excluding Fanning) claim a spot, and Rowe, a tryer who has had some probs as FIGJAM has told us about all the time, then, f**k me dead, Hall and Walker must be doing something.

Ppl that show to much respect for ppl that dont deserve to be at the club are ****ers.
Julian has been/will be /should be delisted not only because he is not good enough (op or not) but because he is not liked at the club. He is to arrogant with nothing to show for it!

Excuse me but Julian isn't a ****er and he isn't arrogant unlike some of their pissy supporters.

These are kids haveing a shot at their dream. Mentally all of them want to win us a flag. Unfortunately not all of them are up to it.

Unless the player in question is an Angwin type disruptive type, then abusing boys who've given it their all on the way out is a sign of extraordinarily poor character.
