Not me.

They say what doesn't kill you just makes you stronger. As disappointed as I was yesterday, it just re-inforced why I love St Kilda.

To see all the loyal Saints fans out in mass today to thank the team, even though we lost, was awesome. Just shows the renowned passion of St Kilda supporters. I think even Riewoldt mentioned that's a big part of why the Saints players all play with such passion too.

The disappointment on the players faces after the game was not only due to their own personal pain. They know they carry the hopes, doubts, fear, joy, pain, paranoia, passion of all us basketcases that make up the Saints supporter base.

If they run out in a St Kilda jumper they are representing each and every one of us. If they win we all win with them but if they lose we all lose too and, just like yesterday, if they hurt we all hurt, if they bleed we all bleed and if they cry we all cry. We're all in it together.*

To cut a long story short, any St Kilda supporter that jumps off the Saints bandwagon after yesterday is more worthless than a Gary Ablett Jnr hairbrush.

*apologies for the Ben Lee reference.

I was shattered after the loss on saturday, but the idiots turning against the club and the one moron turning against Rooey are just pathetic

You support your club thru good times and bad times, thru wins and losses

I will be there in 2010 cheering the boys on

Carn the sainters

In other words "we're a bunch of losers so lets stick together!"
How do saints even have a bandwagon :o

It's called loyalty. But what would you know about that.

How many of your bandwagoners from 2008 will jump off in 2010? I cant wait to see your membership numbers tumble like your club did this season. Piss off loser, and worry about your 3 strike forward; <injunction> <injunction>

Don't worry about me friend I have been a member of my club since 1994.
I am willing to bet my bigfooty account that hawthorn will have more members than the aints next year so who cares how far it falls.
Worry about Saint Nick while your at it, I hear the guy got rushed into hospital this morning as apparently noone could stop the flow of tears rushing out of his eyeballs (undiscovered illness apparently).
Go Saints!

I have a question for you?

Who made the grand final and played an amazing season in 2009
Who were shit all year and thought they could sneak into the finals by trying to beat the dons= NO FINALS :D

And you dont have any room to talk about bandwagons :thumbsu:

Hahaha typical scum fan. We weren't trying to sneak into finals we rested our big guns and played half a side. Alot of first year players and young guns. Matty Lloyd got beaten by an 18 yr old :o. Your rabble side only just got over the line against a side that was trying to lose.

See the hawks exist to win flags and were in preparation for 2010 once they realised that too many injuries had crippled their season (pretty early in the year). Essendon on the other hand have absolutely nothing to work with and will be middle of the road again but hey I guess you played finals! Great experience for the young fellas, a 100 point loss LOL.

At the end of the day we played finals, saints played finals, campbell brown is weak as piss

PS: who did you rest in round 22? (Franklin :D)

Haha, you act as if I really care that he didn't play. I'd like to thank the AFL for ensuring we got a better draft pick then the scum and then in turn have a laugh by watching them embarass themselves on the big stage a week later.

Campbell Brown has a screw loose but even he was smart enough not to get sucked into hitting any of you ******s and getting weeks off.
Brown = free to play Rd 1
Bateman = 1 week for clotheslining the diver (only 1 week lol)

Matty Diver Lloyd = 4 weeks and retirement for one of the weakest softest dogs of a player you will ever see. Who is going to captain your rabble next year, McVeigh? :D

Weakest softest dog, 920 goals?? that shows ur dawks immaturity to see one of the great modern forwards

and fyi Watson will be our captain nxt year, and one again, we made finals and you didnt

and fyi our list has proven it can win a flag, yours has proven it can lose a final by 100 points :D

Don't suppose the Hawthorn, Essendon circle jerk could be taken elsewhere could it?

And Plugger, let them run off because we didn't make it to the very end and taste success, we're still here to go around again and try for next year without such flogs dragging us down.

No it's about showing loyalty and sticking with your team through tough times. Something quite a few of the Hawks bandwagoners didn't do this season when things turned bad.

And Plugger, let them run off because we didn't make it to the very end and taste success, we're still here to go around again and try for next year without such flogs dragging us down.

Yeah I guess one good thing about losing the GF is that it sorts out the bandwagoners from the real supporters. Anyone who jumps off the club after one loss like that can't call themselves a real supporter.

Exactly, we know the people who hurt with the club, who cry with the club and who demand more from the club and we know those simply tagging along while were up before fading away when / if we revisit the 80's. In the end we still have brothers and sisters to cry with without those who don't really care and are just blending in.

Strength through loyalty through anything.

I have a lot of faith in Ross. Can't wait to see our moves in the offseason. We'll be back next year, without the deadweight and with a squad and staff with Grand Final experience and a renewed hunger. Bring on 2010.

Already hoping we get a rematch against the cats in round 1 2010.

We had an excellent year this year.... I have faith in ross that he can tweak to get us to go one better next year.

This is quite an exciting thought...

Yeah I can see us bouncing back bigger and better next year, like Geelong did this year. Lyon has shown before that he has the desire and smarts to improve our team over the off season, the players are all disciplined and committed too. Our improvement from 2008 to 2009 was immense, if we can make a similar improvement next year then we will be unstoppable.

Apart from Max we should have pretty much the same squad as this year and many of our younger players will improve and hopefully improve the team in the process.
