I don't know if it's just me, but why is beating the swans a certainty? Am I a pessimist? just got this odd feeling about todays game. Anyone else?:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Yep! We've beaten the Swans the last 7 times we've faced and we're in great form right now, while the Swans are not. It's not a gimme of course, but things are definitely in our favor and it'll be a pretty big upset if we lose this.

It happens occasionally, I don't think anyone would've tipped Essendon to beat St Kilda, but if you're fretting about games like this then you'll probably turn yourself grey when we face Geelong :p

I really hope this isn't the easy game we drop near the end of the season, like many other years.

Still, can't wait to watch the match later today.

You hear MM speak about the Swans and how much respect there is then this game certainly isn't in the bag. However going by our current form, the fact we've got the wood on them, were playing at the MCG and it's also a game we need to cement a 3rd possie on the ladder I would be extremely disappointed if we lost. I just want the win and have no injuries. Really hope that Josh and Woody rip it up today. :thumbsu:

Although we should win this game, Sydney are not a team that we can just expect to win. It will still be a hard slog to get there however I'm confident we can do it.

I don't want to mess with form *Touching Wood* however strangely this game is actually not all that important. Now that the Bulldogs have beaten Geelong, unless we beat Sydney today by 10 goals it will be nearly impossible to secure 3rd spot without a good game against the dogs next week. Therefore we can actually lose today and still be in a very similar scenario in round 22. Not saying that I want us to lose however it won't be the end of the world
