Now i'm not gonna make excuses for our piss poor season to date, but have a think about this.
Peake - Played all of 5 games.
Farmer - Played 2 games.
Crowley - Missed nearly entire pre season (knee).
Black - Missed entire pre season (back).
Tarrant - Very interrupted pre season (calf).
Johnson - 4 weeks suspension.
Haddrill - Missed pre season/start of season.
Longmuir - Missed nearly all year (knee).
Schammer - No pre season, missed 12 games (surgery complications).
Thornton - Limited pre season, missed heap of footy.

There is some serious fire power there that we have missed and i know Johnno and Wizz cant blame anyone but themselves but geez. To me the ones that stand out there are the guys that missed most of the pre-season guys like Black, Crowley, Schammer and Peake. Guys that are our better ball users and are very quick players. None of them have looked anywhere enar right so far and it shows with the limited pre-season. That is 10 guys from our probable best 22 that have missed a fair bit of time.

Farmer was the big one, guys like Hadrill, Longmuir, Thornton weren't exactly top flight players last year either.

We're quite lucky on one front, Pav has played like 160 games straight, and Bell has missed like 1 game in 10 years. There are are two best players, so lets not get to blaming injures for our woes.

Don't make xcuses for our poor season or our so-called injury lists....

We lost to Port when we were 34 points up in 3rd quarter! WTF!

We lost to Essendon when Pav & Taz were on fire, but we got overrun as Jetta & Davey & Lovett ran amok against our pedestrian midfield

We lost to the Eagles as we simply were not hard enough & didn't take opportunities & Des had a brain fade

We lost to the Bulldogs due to poor coaching & again not taking opportunities in front of goal

We lost to Collingwood because Pavlich & Tarrant couldn't kick straight

We got smashed by Brisbane because we had an absolute shocker everywhere on the ground

We lost to Sydney becasue we didn't kick goals when we were dominating the start of the 3rd quarter. We got smashed in centre of ground. Connolly refused to switch players around midfield!

We lost to Geelong, simply because we didn't turn up to play in first 3 quarters!

We can't blame injuries for our losses...sure farmer may have played well, but he may also have got another suspension somewhere along the line. Alot of other clubs have some of their Top 5 players unavailable at certain stages of the year. We've had the nucleus of Pav, Tarrant, Sandilands, JCarr, Bell & McPharlin the whole year.

Alot of games we've been in the lead or in the hunt for the 4 points but have lost due to poor kicking on goal, poor defensive match ups, poor skill errors, lack of pace or delaying moves in the midfield.

What do you reckon, we extend CC contract for a further 3 years as a result.

After seeing the way Schammer was treated at selection this week he should be sacked tomororw for Harvey to take over for Sundays game.
