I saw the Dyson catch live at the ground and what is forgotten is that he got a sighter when he caught Michael Holding on the boundary a couple of overs before. The Clarke hit went further up than it did out.I reckon this one is better.
Dyson catch was great for his time, but the fielding as advanced so far, we see those sorts of catches all the time now.I saw the Dyson catch live at the ground and what is forgotten is that he got a sighter when he caught Michael Holding on the boundary a couple of overs before. Some of the catches on the boundary these days are insane

Did you see the Cartwright one yesterday? Brilliant.Dyson catch was great for his time, but the fielding as advanced so far, we see those sorts of catches all the time now.

They should head hunt Langer.LOL I just looked at the Oxford dictionary under rabble, and there was a photo of the England cricket team. They have no coach, no managing director, no selectors, and now no Test captain - with no suitable candidates to take over the role. Good luck to the poor muppet who draws the short straw: he's in for a world of hurt.
He would be stupid to agree. No-win scenario with a board that has actively demeaned 4 day cricket to such an extent that they've only got about 5 Test players. They should head hunt Langer.
That 100 competition they started last year was stupid - as you said, red ball cricket means nothing in England right now, and they're paying for it. Competent Test players in England are about as rare as Warriors flagsHe would be stupid to agree. No-win scenario with a board that has actively demeaned 4 day cricket to such an extent that they've only got about 5 Test players.
.Amazing what happens when you play Anderson! Almost like he's a damn good bowler..What the hell is going on in England? Kiwis 4 for 12 in the 1st Test!!!!!!
Yeah but he's 94 years old - how long can they play him? Will he and Broad play in next year's Ashes?Amazing what happens when you play Anderson! Almost like he's a damn good bowler..

As long as he's best XI (which he very much is now).Yeah but he's 94 years old - how long can they play him?
Yes, they sure should. He and Broad in English conditions are dynamite. Might be the perfect ending for both if England win that Ashes. Will he and Broad play in next year's Ashes?![]()
Only in favourable conditionsAmazing what happens when you play Anderson! Almost like he's a damn good bowler..
Yep. At one point they lost 5/8.The more things change, the more they stay the same - the Poms bowled the Kiwis out for 132, and were then cruising at 0 for 59. But they then imploded, losing 7 for 41. At stumps they were 7 for 116, still 16 behind.
One of the great examples of optimism is seeing an English batsman with sunscreen on his noseYep. At one point they lost 5/8.
The more things change.......
.Great catch to dismiss Carey.Green and Carey with hopefully a match winning partnership against Sri Lanka on day 2. Green looks to be a future great and I have hopes for something like Kallis.
Carey reminds me of early Kim Hughes who would get to the 40s, do all the hard work then throw his wicket away by having a rush of blood.Carey is starting to have a knack of getting them when we need them.
Green is a very exciting prospect. He looks a million bucks with bat and ball. Starting to get a few results to back up the obvious talent.
Never been to Sri Lanka, but have heard Galle described as one of the most spectacular cricket grounds.
Which is far more acceptable as a keeper, but agreed.Carey reminds me of early Kim Hughes who would get to the 40s, do all the hard work then throw his wicket away by having a rush of blood.
