Seeing your pic I realise I sat immediately behind you and Mrs Feel at the last Inside Port Adelaide event at the Entertainment Centre, the one where KT told us that having one captain wearing the #1 was just an outdated fashion like players wearing caps. We left the carpark at the same time but you were in a small (green?) car and not a Prado so I didn't think it was you.

Stay strong mate and I hope you beat the fecker.

I had a colonoscopy about 6 months ago and they didn't find any polyps or anything this time around (I did have some removed when I had one 5 years earlier). After the most recent one my gastro doc booked me in for another one in 5 years time just as a precaution and I thought he was being a bit too cautious but reading through this thread I'm pretty happy he is on the cautious side.

Doctor Feel You've handled this as well as anyone could ever be expected to and getting the message out to others is very admirable. Reading what you've been through should be enough motivation for anyone to get proactive about it.

Appointment with the oncologist set for wednesday next week. So it begins. Time to find out the method of attack.

I am actually connected up with a 29 year old gentleman exchanging stories. He is 5 weeks post op so a bit further on than me. He also had an article. Paywalled though.

This shit is absolutely rampaging.

Yours, or anyone's situation with this horrible disease is not a laughing matter, but also....

So sorry to hear that. It sounds as if you were close to your mum and have had plenty of good times to remember, so, in time, they are what you'll think of and be grateful for. 😘
