Just getting some thoughts here Kane Tenace really struggles to break into or maintain a spot on geelong's list was a real hype player when drafted with some great upsides in his speed and stuff finds a lot of the pill at vfl level is he a player that we could target come trade time? Realistically what do you think we could offer of value? would he be worth it?

Pies chased him after the 04 season if i'm correct as part of the Brad Ottens trade. He had more value then.

Would be a player to consider. He and Prismall.

Geelong will have plenty of talented players looking for greener pastures next year. Tenace might be a good pick-up.

that was my thinking i think selwood development has almost done him out of a spot with chap ablett bartel corey etc. Tenace's value has dropped since 04 and could add to our mid's. Usually I am against picking up players who are struggling to get into another sides best 22 but geelongs midfield has lot of depth and versatility and i think tenace is to one dimensional for them but may be of value to us

Tenace has pace, and that is it

He aint that good a user of the ball, and is soft as butter

Rather stick with Lonie

Prismall, chase after him, he is a good solid inside midfielder, just what we need to fill the void when Burns, Licca move on

thanks for clearing that up i really didn no to much about him hence the question of what you guys thought, i thought they may have been a bad defency in his game for him to have struggled so much to get consecutive games but was not sure what it was, and wether it was something that could be ironed out or not

Shirks body contact like a little bitc i dont think i can handle too mu7ch of that from collingwood players

His disposal could be worse than O'Bree's (if thats possible). I don't think his decision making under pressure is that flash either

As has already been said, Prismall is the one to target - He fits the bill of what we need down to a T.

Yeah but he's less likely to be on the market. In fact making room at Geelong for players like Prismall are the reason that players like Tenace will be on the market. If you get my drift.

from all reports from the geelong board is a real project type player no confidence to run and carry not clean with picking up or disposing the ball and on that note probably not what we need as collingwood have enough developing players hence no need to chase one that is taking a while to develop sorry all for the waste of time thread

His kicking has improved a lot since those early days. His VFL disposal has been 1st class this year. Even when he was in the 1's you could notice the improvement.

Would be worth chasing for you guys. Not sure what his trade value is though.

I have been pretty keen on the thought of luring Prismall over to us at years end i mean he's hard at it has a fair bit of class too and is young surely he will be looking for more opportunity and a player of his capabilities would garner decent field time on our list....i'd also like to get his brother down too pretty good player for the Jets too!

I'd doubt it - Even with Tenace out of the side most of the year Prismall hasn't been able to crack a game.

The emergence of Joel Selwood superceding those guys has made them much more expendable. Prismall will almost certainly not be at Catland next year.

the question remains.

what do WE have that we don't want, that Geelong would want?

not much.

to some extent that may be the case, but if players want out of geelong the question becomes what do we have to offer geelong that is better then what other clubs would offer. Because it's very rare that team's just let a player of any sort of quality come out of contract and leave that way.

we would want a first round pick for him thou
You won't get it - He will definitely walk if you don't trade him.

He's not getting any opportunity to play seniors no matter how well he plays, and there are no imminent retirements in your midfield, meaning that his chances won't get any better any time soon.

Prismall will not fetch a first round pick.

Was a mad collingwood fan growing up,

could play for the black and white

Would be a good age for our midfield.
