Of course he doesnt use it much, apart from to run to the bench. But it really seems he isnt that quick, or it might be because of hes small steps (doesnt look quick) thoughts?
Anyway welled played by the boys tonight

He's probably fast running in a straight line over 100m. Unfotunately that doesn't mean shit about being a footballer. Draft Camp results should be thrown in the bin when it comes to recruiting

...apologise to Turtlemanistic and other Geelong posters that, nigh on four weeks ago, called for the head of Kane Tenace for his poor performances and ridiculously bad foot skills.

Being the fool I am, I expressed my disgust at supporters finding negatives while the team was coming across very positive. For that, I apologise.

One Kane Tenace, and this can be recorded, was an absolute dud on 06\07\07 against the Essendon Bombers, and basically provided them with an extra player to work with.

I now will join the revolt against Mr.Tenace, and call for Callan, Johnson, Prismall or Djerrkura to take his place in the team, and continue on our winning ways.

I am embarressed, ashamed and somewhat disgusted with my comments supporting the selection of Tenace, and I will live in shame until I can be forgiven for my ignorance

Josh Hunt should slot comfortably in his spot next week. Tonight Tenace officially jumped the shark.

I don't think he is a sprinter like Wojcinski, his strength is being able to run into the spaces in the midfield and create a loose man to recieve the ball. I remember I heard the commentators say a couple of times how quickly he ran into the space and got the ball.

Has to be DJ, x10 better defensive side to his game than Hunt. Which was the big issue with Tenace last night, I thought.

Kane Tenace????

After watching the footy last night it just made my conclusion of Tenace the right one!!! When is he going to be given the arse??? And WHY is he getting games over the likes of Brent Prismell???? He thinks that he is a good footy player (as i have met him and don't even like him off the footy field) but he has another thing coming to him hopefully at the end of the year!!!! What are ur thoughts on this waste of a good spot in the side???:thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd:

He picks up alot of loose footy with his leg speed...particularly at the periphery of stoppages(some will want to criticise this aspect of his play but its a plan). We have such good inside players at the moment having guys like Tenace and Wojo are making life hell for the opposition. Its about balance. Prismall will get his chances soon.

Many of us on here have been saying the same for months... Tenace is the most one dimensional player on the park. He can't man a defensive post, can't kick, doesn't win the ball, no awareness, no lateral movement / pace useless unless in straight line, poor tackler etc, etc. Essentially he is a receiver who uses the ball badly...

This is Henry Playfair re-visited. Give the bloke a totally unfair amount of chances to develop into something he never will be, a good footballer. There are 2 very good players knocking on the door (Hunt,Johnson) and Tenace may have played his last game this year... He must be dropped. Jobe Watson taught Tenace a lesson!! He has no right to his spot in the side on performance alone... Both Hunt and Johnson played far, FAR better when given the chance this year.
Just cause we are giving the competition a lesson in hard, fast, contested footy, doesn't mean we can't improve the team. :thumbsd: Tenace :thumbsd:

i fear if we dont let Prismall run around in the 1's this year we may lose him to another side and watch him carve up for them!!

I think people are going over board here just to try win a debate. In the top side in the league at the moment...he really isnt that ordinary. Stop exaggerating the point.

How is that a valid statement? It's too easy to question Tenace's place in the team when there are several better players available. We want the best team on the park every week and Tenace is more useful getting his 40+ powder puff touches in the 2nds.

My point isnt regarding the merits of him being in the side or not anymore. I am saying people are going way over board trying to make a point about him and his worth to the team. There is no way he is as cr@p as some people are trying to make out...just make your point and if people disagree thats life...trying to win an argument by outright exaggeration just turns this into wanksville...
