Surprised no-one seems to have thrown his name up in psd talks.

Young midfielder, high pick, certainly looked capable until Selwood was drafted and froze him out.

I know we've probably got a glut of second tier mids at the moment but he meets the criteria, young, cheap, talented.

Unless someone like Jude Bolton or a proven FB becomes a feasible option, i think Tenace would be a wise get in the draft.

He's a bit similar to Jordan Russell, but quicker. Not sold on him myself, but he's showed some promise at stages.

Wouldn't mind looking to the state leagues for a FB/CHB type. With our last pick in the regular draft or in the PSD. Joel Perry or a Travis Gaspar... someone who maybe needs a first or second chance and has been playing well this year.

I was thinking precisely the same thing. They even have had the same similar stupid hair.

They also both look similar to me in that SO FAR, I've not seen much to justify where they were drafted. At all. Maybe it'll snap into focus... hmm.

I hope to god with don't pick up either!! Perry is a lead up forward who struggled to get a game in a team totally lacking in forwards. And Travis Gaspar?? he wasn't a tenth of his brother and his brother had one good year!

There are reasons why these players have been de-listed from under performing clubs! We have no need for more deadwood, i for one would prefer to develop Jamison, Austin, Anderson and Setanta and wait the time it takes than undo our good off season work by stockin up with duds.:thumbsu:

I think priority should be given in this order if available: Rutten, Brennan and Hahn/Bolton.

I think we've got to be realisitic. I do see you say "if". But I'd be very surprised if Rutten left (he'd have to be in the running for the captancy), i doubt Bolton would leave unless he did it as a matter of pride (which i'm 99% he would). That leaves Hahn and Brennan. Brennan is not worth the price on his head and i'm not sure if we'd want to take a similar risk with Hahn as we did with Hadley, having said that Hahn is the most likely of those 4.

Rutten knows that Adelaide are a few years off another flag and currently the team showing the most promise is Carlton. I think that it's entirely possible that he would leave to come of us if the right oppotunity came up.

Didnt Bolton get delisted and offered up for trade by Sydney? Besides which... why do we need another defensive/tagging mid unless it is going to be to teach Banno the role properly.

Brennan is apparently asking for a million bucks to stay in Brisbane, but thats his manager doing the talk I think. I think that he will either go back there or he will go to Richmond as their first pick in the PSD.

Hahn would be a good get I think.

I think that it is going to come down to etiher Rutten or Hahn. I think that we are going to hold off making a decision until Bitchmond commit to someone in the PSD. If Rutten announces his decision to leave Adelaide then Richmond will probably go for him over Brennan.

If thats the case and Hahn is available, then I say that we go with him.

Bolton is not a tagger. He's pure inside midfielder. He's a battering ram, awesome tackler and clearance man. However, his limitations, and the reason Sydney tried to flog him, is that he's not quick, and is not particularly creative or skillful in open space. He's a player I admire a lot, but I don't know if he's what we need/the right place to put our money.

Rutten, on the other hand, is. I have no idea why he'd want to leave Adelaide, and I don't think he will... however, we should/would have to go after him as the absolute priority over anyone else. A 24yo gun full back? Oh. My. God. All of our Christmases would have come at once is we got him for free in the PSD.

Again... don't see it happening... but it's an absolute no-brainer if he's available. We do anything and everything we can to get him.

We actually lost a loyal club servant Simon Beaumont in a 3 way trade for this pathetic excuse for a footballer.
How does this work?
Beaumont wanted to leave........how is that loyal?

That's not really how it went down. Beaumont lives in my street and I have asked him about it.
So he didn't have a falling out with the coach?
Do tell.
What is the reason why he was moved to the Hawks?
