How about the Burton 50 metre kick paid deliberate?

Disgraceful decision. When the Kangas player was appealing for deliberate I actually laughed out loud then the :D:D:D:Der umpire paid it!! :thumbsd:

Didn't that Gibson fella also dive into Thompson's legs and a a free for high? Near the boundary line.

Well Burton ran down the wing, and kicked it 50 metres down the line. And Rawlings turn and looks at the umpire to appeal, and yep wins the free.
Deliberate out of bounds is a bullsh*t law that should be scrapped.
The umps are never consistant.

Yep that is exactly what happened. That's why I can't even comprehend what the umpire was thinking. Picking free's from thin air. :thumbsd:

I also wouldn't mind seeing a replay of Doughty's soccer for goal, I didn't think it was touched.

Thompson just happened to fall over him when it happened. Pathetic.

Hmm, the AFL should separate some umpires from others next time if this happens again next week which is likely to.

And the deliberate out of bounds were fine.

Carey, Healy and Grybas all at the game didn't seem to have a problem with it. If the umpire determined Burton's sole intention was to kick the ball out of bounds, which very much looked the case then he's well within his rights to award to free kick.

And the Rutten one was clearly deliberate.

And Drummond, I notice in all your ADD fueled whinging you don't mention many of several frees the Kangaroos missed in the match, and several ones which the Crows got that were highly contentious.

Why is that?

Grow up dude.

So did you watch the first half?

Why weren't you at the game, like the other 10 odd thousand of your supporters? :o
Drummond. You're a moron.

I could come up with 10 or so occasions in the first half when the Kangaroos should've gotten free kicks. Umpires miss things, they make mistakes.

Quit whinging. Get a life. And grow up.

You probably have the audacity to claim that the umpires were bad for your side, which quite simply, is pathetic. Those deliberate decisions, to go with the Thompson shocker, and many other calls, were just trash.

But anyway, why weren't you at the game?

I wonder if the umpires paid that long kick deliberate based on that incident only or did they make a decision based on Adelaides tactics at the time?
