For his 1st CLUB game ever I thought he showed a fair bit in the limited time.

The things I liked where:
He moved bloody well for a Big Man 204cm+
Good on Ground Level
Went for the Hardball a Few Times
Loved the 1 hand pick-up in the Last Minute - Cox Like

Stll fair way to go but could be a Beauty

Your Thoughts?

He has enough to work with.

I'll have to watch the tape again, I didn't really gain any strong impressions on him other than that he's very tall and very skinny.

No problem with him being on the rookie list.

At one stage in the second term he got loose took a few meters and delivered.

Unfortunately it was cut off but he looked plenty co-ordinated when he did it.

Just needs a lot of footy and plenty more before we start talking about him.

Yeah, he looked like a bloke who had only played a handful of footy games in his career. At this stage you're looking for AFL quality attributes, is all. And he's got the height and, as other's have observed, looks a good mover. The one time I got a good look at his kicking action, it looked quite neat. It's an absolute bonus that we're getting to play him in the last few VFL games. Let's just hope he can do a full preseason next year and play solid season of VFL footy next year. He's so green and comes from a nonfooty background, so we almost have to treat him as if he were another Irishman.

will he continue to play VFL for this year?
Well he will be on the Rookie List so he will play VFL all year next year unless we have a Injury Disaster in the Ruck

will he continue to play VFL for this year?
I haven't heard, but I do hope so as it must be a big boost for Keeffe to feel as though he's finally getting started. :thumbsu:

I don't think you can be in the AIS soccer squad without at least having the basics of kicking on both feet. It'd just be a matter of getting accustomed to the oval ball.

I like the bit in the last minute where he Grabbed the Ball by 1 hand on the 1st Try and Then Kicked the ball. Not Bad for such a Raw player

Yep, he was involved in the AIS program for soccer. As I understand it, the trials where he was spotted were for talented athletes from other sports to gain some coaching/playing time at AFL.
