Supposed to be in the team for experience, can't make the distance from 40 out. What the hell is that , great example. Had yet another chance to stand up, another chance to lead the way and what does he give us? NOTHING! GOODBYE!
 
You are letting your emotions get the better of you. Dixon kicked 2 goals and was hardly the worst player and should be given credit for a good solid AFL career.

Take off the brown and gold goggles! He is a front runner of the highest order. Always has been always will be.

Smith (Slow, shit skills)
Guerra (Slow)
Taylor (Slow praying mantis)
Vandenberg (Just plain old crap)
Young (Needs to work on his awareness)

It was 40m out.. y dnt u complain when Roughie or boyle Or even Buddy miss it from 30? but if its ben u all just charge and brag on about him how shit he is. We respect Dicko to wot he had done to the forward line. By the wayy..i no Ben and he has ran out of knee cartlige so he is not @ his best..but we still should respect him on what he had done to our forward line. GO DICKO!!
 
Had the unfortunate pleasure of being at SCG today. I think Dixon didn't make the distance on that kick because of the amount of running he did in the lead up, still a poor excuse but at least he was having a go. Made lead after lead and still kept presenting whereas our supposed superstars did not want to give a second effort. Pretty piss weak showing today and we all know how well we go against Adelaide.
 
He kicked 2goals our highest goal scorer today along with Tayles. Even if Dicko got that shot of goal from 40m it wouldve not made a difference.We played a sh*t game so just face it. Dont go off blaming ben when he did most of the work in out forward line.

then you would use the same philosophy with buddy after last weeks performance ????
 
I'm not a very big Dixon fan, but I do recall the commentators saying the wind was going against the way we were kicking that quarter, so that wouldn't have helped.

That said, everyone kicks a shocker here and then, why aren't you calling for McGlynn to keep walking... did you not see his disgracefuly lazy posessions that went 20m away and hit the opponent on the chest?
 
He (dicko) was our highest goal scorer today.. dont say that 2goals isnt a good example to our young forwards when Boyle, Buddy, Roughie eached kicked 1. So Goodbye to you...
 
I'm not going to take to much into anyones game today. I thought Hodge/Young/Crawf tried thats about it. Players I have very high opinions of for example birchall just had absolute shockers.

Edit: Its just implied that Browny has a fair dinkum crack every game.
 
Smith - Old, Slow, ran around players instead of straight at them (its called pressure! put some on!)

Vandenberg - Time's Up, Too Old, Too Slow, Poor Skills but a good leader (mentor 2008)

Gilham - Is young, but as of late seems disinterested.






People bagging Goo, get over it, he was vertually functioning in defence by himself with all our other defenders bending over.

Your wrong mate because if we never had these boys then we would never of gotten into the finals. There very importent for us and we really missed Changa and if we also had Timmy Clake and Willo and Ossie we would of done much better but we were mising to many. We had a bad start and we were even after half time so were as good as Sydney but were having bad luck in the first half. And them umpires that gave us nothing and reported us there just cheating us.
 
Dicko is a pretty easy target but a HFF who kicks a couple of goals has done his job.

Dunno if he should play next year. His knees will not get better. Our forwardline with Dicko, Roughie and Boiler is slow.

Yesterday showed you still need strong bodies. We do not have a heap of them so on that level Dicko is needed.

Yes, I forgot about this bit where were needing stronger bodies and with all the top gym facilities weve got in Waverly its gunna take another preseason to get us stronger to match it against them older blokes. Now with all the drug testing we cant get the sterroids going like them other teams used to so were gunna do it properley and its gunna take anothe year or two.
