He's a good player, but I refuse to give up our South Australian talent such as Bell or Rivers for him
Jamars from SA, he might want to go home.Yeh. Scott Thompson relived. Sorta.

Adelaide have a some young KPP talent that we could get somewhat cheap IMO> They do rate Jamar pretty high over here..
Adelaide have some young KPP talent. Not sure who they would be after from us. They do rate Jamar pretty high over here though..
The problem with trading Jamar is that it leaves us with only 2 ruckmen - we might draft one or rookie list another but it's a gamble. I'd send Jamar home for Messon... possibly send Ferguson and our 3rd rounder for McGregor?

I reckon the crows would be keen to use him to upgrade our 1st round pick as opposed to using him for a player. ie McGregor plus pick 10 for pick 4 or 5. I cant see you guys doing that but i reckon there's a chance the bullies might. He deserves to play a full season but the crows will be trying to get some young players through the forward line so he wont get that chance.
I don't think we would be interested in any of your players (Other than the ones you wouldn't trade, Rivers, Bell etc.)
If McGregor headed to the Demons, he would really do well for you i think. Especially as he could be used at either end.
I think all we would look for is probably a draft pick upgrade. Presuming it's a highish one or a large upgrade. (Gee I'm sounding like a burger flipper)
Or on the other hand, we would package him up with perhaps a Meesen and look for a decent pick outright.

Neil Craig has suggested that Ken would be up for trade.
Ive always thought he was a pretty good player at either end of the ground. Could he be the CHB weve been looking for?
Just off topic, I feel sorry for you mate living in Adelaide and being a Demons supporter given our FAAAAANNNNTASTIC record over at AAMI stadium.
But if we can get rid of Jamar for some quality I'm all for it!
Actually as far as I know the original post is wrong. McGregor has requested to find a new home because he hasn't been getting opportunities. I know that Bell loves living in Melbourne but I'm not so sure about Rivers. Does anyone suspect that he might be playing his injury a bit ala Scott Thompson to go home? Why would we want him? Just average and ask yourelf why would Adelaide give him up if he was any good.
The way forward is to draft quality only IMO.

I follow Melbourne's fortunes quite closely because my whole family does and they reckon that McGregor + Meesen = Rivers on the proviso that Rivers would want to go home. Otherwise no dice, and understandably so because there'd be no reason to trade him.
Hahaha, Rivers = genuine talent, and plays in a position that we can't afford to lose good players from.Actually as far as I know the original post is wrong.
