Beware... John Davison..

I think Kenya are a real chance. Obviously wont win the final but I think they'll do better than last time. They've thumped Bermuda (I know, they're crap) by 9 and 10 wickets I think? And they've just polished off Scotland as well. Not exactly quality teams but you still have to be focussed and defeat them and Kenya are doing it no worries at the moment :thumbsu:
Any district 1s side would thrash Bermuda and Scotland.

They wont go close to doing better than what they did at 03' WC. Are you on drugs?

Scotland only just lost to Kenya by 3 runs or something recently.
Shows how crap Kenya is.

England will spank Kenya with their eyes closed.

Another remarkable win for Kenya.

Ireland 4/284 after 50 overs.

Kenya 9/286 off 49 overs after being 9/231

52 needed off the last 6 overs with 1 wicket in hand and Odoyo hit an unbeaten 61 (39) to win in the dying minutes of the game.

Not only can they thump teams by 10 wickets but they can fight out the tight matches and perform well under pressure.

Bright future for Kenya :thumbsu:

Bermuda maybe, but Scotland play against the English county sides and win a few matches as well. I think they've also got a couple of extra players floating around the stronger counties. I can't see them beating Australia or South Africa, but they shouldn't be complete pushovers.

Any district 1s side could beat a lower County side :D

On the earlier topic of Ireland, they would be a fair side with Joyce... and its weird that I read he had to wait 4 years to qualify for England, but played an ODI for Ireland last year... how does that work!

They changed the rules so that players from the smaller nations wouldn't upset their qualification for a test nation by playing matches for their true home. Fair enough as well, it just further weakens the game below test level, because half decent players might prefer to sit it out rather than risk upsetting their chances of playing at test level.

It does look like a bit of a joke though that he played for Ireland in the World Cup qualifiers, and then come the world cup he's going to be playing for another nation.
