I listen to "Hungry For Sort" on SEN, because I like the feeling of superiority it gives me, listening to a clueless fool like Kevin Bartlett.

I have no respect for KB, because he is a Geelong-hating piece of s....! He always mocks Geelong when Neil Balme is on (mind you, Balme doesn't help matters by his wishy-washy answers).

Bartlett also harps on about Richmond fans not being able to get into Symons Stadium earlier in the year, and says that Geelong shouldn't play there. Well, Kev, if Richmond were a half decent team, they might have enough members crawl out of the woodwork to go to a game at the G or Etihad between Geelong and Richmond, but the Tigers play at SS against us, because they are still a crap team who can't even beat Gold Coast. Until they actually make finals, then enough Richmond supporters might care to even go to a game against us.

Besides, many Richmond supporters won't go to games against us anyway, because they are sick of being thrashed by us.

Then today, a caller to SEN had a go at KB regarding an incident where Christensen was hit against WCE. KB said that he didn't see the incident, and dismissed the caller, saying that Geelong fans are a pack of whingers.

KB hates us because we beat up Richmond all the time. Besides, why should he care. The last time Richmond beat us, he wasn't even having anything to do with the Tigers, because he was still sooky-sooky-la-la about the Tiges sacking him as coach and ending his dud coaching career.

But that reminds me, ME, that I forgot to mention, I called SEN this morning about SJ. I waited 1/2 an hour, and then KB and Patrick talked over the top of me.

I probably couldn't get anyone there to listen to my complaints (of getting rid of KB). Besides, they treat him like some god there (he even pops up on "Casual Friday" now), and probably they pay him too much to sack him and pay him out for no return (though I doubt what SEN gets from KB can be called "a return".).

Hell, it seems that KB gets as much airtime on SEN as Finey!

I've always found it really funny at how people get so riled by KB. Maybe it's because I don't listen to him every morning, but I've always thought he was amiable, genial, harmless old fella who likes to poke a bit of good-natured shit and never takes himself or life too seriously.

We have won three flags, yet get little love in the media. For years, when we lost Grand Finals, we were criticized by many in the media. Now, we have won three flags, and yet, we are still not rated.

The media only acknowledge us as a 3-time premiership side when they have to. However, they never have us as premiership favourites leading into any of the last five years. Instead, there are the yearly articles that say that we are too old, too slow and our era is over. Every Friggin' year!

We have earnt respect. We are owed respect! The media should acknowledge us, because we are the best, and every other team supporter wish that they went for us.

Once, "the greatest team of all" was just a line in our song. Now, it is a statement of absolute fact, and the media need to accept this.

Why do people care about what total strangers think of our football team? What difference does it make? The only thing that really matters is the scoreboard at the end of the game. Be in front there enough times and the rest looks after itself. I couldn't care less what people think. You are never going to be universally liked or respected so I wouldn't waste time worrying about it. Certainly not from the media.

Never understood the recent fascination with being "respected". Totally irrelevant.
