Here is one excellent little snippet that i know a few will be very happy to hear (i know i am) but others may be a little disappointed in.

Also eliminated is one of the most well-known and divisive components of the franchise: its incredibly heavy-feeling movement. Mercifully, that mystifying sluggishness is long gone, making Shadow Fall faster and snappier than Killzone has ever been, making way for a shooter that feels, at its core, a lot more like Halo than Killzone 3.

All in all it sounds like exactly what i was looking/hoping for in the new Killzone.
Really looking forward to playing the Warzone game mode online without the ott heaviness that used to be a big part of this series. Even with the ott heaviness it was insanely awesome in KZ2

I liked the heaviness but I wont be disappointed it is scaled back a bit either.
Was just thinking kz2 was the first game I played mp with BF crews, and im still as shit now as I was then lol.

I personally think it's a step in the right direction...it's a fps GAME...you shouldn't get frustrated with the game holding you back by being so ott heavy!
It'll feel even better on top of that with the 60fps too...pumped!

Disappointed in that, I quite enjoyed the sensitivity of the controls in #2. Now it's just akin to Vanilla Shooter 8.

How can you take those scores seriously when someone like lolygon scores it 50/100, they even scored knack higher than that and it's getting a pasting from just about everyone, and since when was 74 a bad score?

The only expectation i have is to enjoy this, like i have all previous Killzones. I havent paid attention to any reviews as I've seen enough to lock it in for launch purchase.

Wouldn't be much of a gamer if i only played games scored 90+ on metacritic.

Most of the hype is from how good it looks, graphics wise it's pretty darn nice.

Generic shooter with awesome settings? Yes please.

Even better for only $65.

I need to read some of these reviews, If the score is getting lowered for poor story then who cares. I only just recently finished Killzone Mercenary on the Vita and I couldn't tell you what the story was about, I was having too much fun.

I'm having a playthrough of Killzone 3 this morning before trading it this arvo.

The Killzone story has always been shit. I never skip cutscenes in a game but this is the closest I've been pushed in years.

There have been some knocks on AI, but that doesn't phase me as long as the AI isn't cheap I'm happy.
