We would be 5 goals better of if we had a half decent small back and tagger this is infuriatiing watch King run into trouble like it is his intention and miss targets by 5m or so over their head.

Our coaching staff are terrible. You'd think they'd learn something from the Stephen Milne debacle.

I'm concerned about Kingy.. was loving him at the start of the year but has been playing some stupid footy of late. Can't give away free kicks and concede soft goals like that... we need a better small back to play on the medhurts, buchanans, milnes. They don't grow on trees either unfortunately.

If we had some big defenders we could put Moore on the little blokes and he'd smash ém.

Put it this way. The Pies have a Mercedes in their back half called Heath Shaw.
We have a rusty old Monaro. We love Kingy because he has a crack and gets you from A to B. But deep down, we'd all prefer to ride in comfort.

Shaw doesn't do much better in stopping his man but he doesn't give the ball to the opposition on a platter.

Shaw may give a goal or two to the opposition, but he helps create five himself.
King gives away goals and the ball.

Well if we agree, then what are we arguing for?
We're not arguing.
I was just adding to my point about King and how little he actually offers. When people finally see past the 'run-bounce-kick badly' style he possesses, they will see that he is not an AFL standard player.

And I was just using one of my favourite Homer Simpson quotes.

Hyde's gone, goodbye, the end. King just should not be persisted with as a stopping defender, he hasn't the temperament. Watching him play it's as if by making him stand a man all his aggression and intensity he'd usually burn off on long runs out of defense is pent up and exploding at the most in opportune times. His skills were good in the first part of the year, needs to get his confidence back by letting him play his natural game again, on a wing maybe?

made interesting reading this morning , casting a glance over the stats whilst washing a muffin down with a steaming hot english breakfast tea , well %^$# me , Jake King 20 possies at 95% efficiency...Hmm I thought, here we go again, must be a full moon...which one of the two clangers was the catalysts for this load of rot:eek:

LMAOOO

quite the mathematician Bo ....:thumbsu:

Burwood Heigths > St. Kevins

20 possies at 95% efficiency would equate to 1 clanger pal ....:thumbsu:

I dont care how effiecient his kicking was you clown. What % of the time does his man mark the ball or does he give away a FK? That % is probably equivilent to his disposal efficiency on the weekend.

Thats my problem with him, if he can fix that and keep his man to 1 goal per game on avg id be happy but right now he isnt.

Thank you. I propose that the next person to quote stats to argue against people who actually watch the game, be flogged with a wet chook, 95% of the time.

I mean it is ok if the problem people have brought up is their kicking but i was stating his problem is for a plumber he sure enjoys a bit of a leak thats all.
