Werewolf Kingmaker Werewolf

This isn't a classic Werewolf game pal.

That a day phase can end on the whim of an individual means you need to start looking at a different set of rules and a different strategy.

So why did you just take out a player, before you could gauge what anybody else was thinking or could voice their opinions.

Allowed you to hide behind the crapshoot excuse rather than defy the voice of the people if they wanted a particular player lynched.

Because no matter what happened nobody knows a damn thing so the choice was meaningless and I could just throw a dart wherever I wanted. It might well be a little bit easier for sante now because he knows that the Assassins have actually killed somebody.

You need to start thinking a little more organically, not mechanically muchacho. The game isn't played through logarithms.

Because of the amount of effort and thought going into his posts I think Sante should be killing Crumpet.

In confusing new conceptual games, the people who hit the ground running are usually those who are in a PM where they have extra info/can ask questions away from the thread.

Add SM to the list of Asses

DapperJong. Very good Tony Robbins candidate.

Pretty firm. Got the strength of nine behind you?

Nope.

I got a random role and I killed somebody randomly (well, not so random, he likened me to an elderly woman). I now have no function unless it slips back to me were I to make last five.

Maybe from your perspective, but from our perspective you are still completely untrustworthy. If you followed the whims of the village then it would have confirmed my trust in you, but as it is you jumped the gun and that greatly concerns me about you and anybody who is seemingly agreeing with your perspective.

I don't care about your trust in me.

Interesting use of "our" though.

Yeah sante, look very carefully at people whispering in your ear, it's rude not to make eye contact.
sante look at people's boobs
Stare them down
Make them flinch

Don't try and make this a me vs you thing. This is about you confirming yourself as good to the entire village.

Why should the village trust you. You had a chance to listen to the people and carry out their will and there was no reason not to (unless that is you were worried they would ask you to kill an evil teammate)

A major difference from this game to a classic game would be that there is only one evil faction and they all know each other. Their sole objective is to survive the lynch as there's no other threat and they don't need to go out and hunt anyone. For that reason I think most evil will be circumspect.

It is a me vs you thing. You are talking on behalf of the village. I'm neither speaking for them nor deigning to assume that I think for them. I also don't really, at this stage, care about anybody else in this game because 10 of the 29 left are in a PM. I don't trust any of you.

I had a one in three shot of proving myself good but that would have seen me killed by the Assassins first up.

Do you want to take another chance at explaining this:

If the hero is listening, the best target to pick is probably the filth wizard, simply because if he is a townie, he won't be able to influence the game again.

For somebody that later analyzed the game to the degree that he had mathematical equations in a wall of text like he was Will Hunting I would have thought you'd have been able to manage the basics of reading an OP to see the Hero doesn't kill anybody and that as a townie I very well can influence the game, not only as a player not in a crapshoot but also should I make the last five I can also be king again.

Which, by the way, is the silliness I referred to when asking the new king to keep an eye on you, something that sent your personal game into haywire.

I can see where dennis crumpet is coming from though Bet on Blue. The odds are seriously stacked against the village in this. We need 10 correct lynches while we can only afford 5 mislynches. Because the assassins will definitely pick off a villager every night.

I actually looked at 'kingmaker' games on some other forums and even though the king controlled the lynch result, the village still had a seer, vig, and doctor. Also, the evil faction was only 1/5 of the total players instead of 1/3.

If we're not going to have any power roles I reckon we at least need to allow repeat kings because if we were forced into choosing an assassin as king that's an automatic 2 kills for evil.
