My kinks: i am sitting just out of the top 1000

backline: fine atm

midfield: only concern is ben johnson

rucks: ottens, just cant trust him for some reason

forward: consists of fev, waite and b fisher (at max i think there is only room for 2). on top of this for some stupid reason i picked up Rob murphy.


Possible trades:

Ben Johnson for???
Ottens for???
Fev/waite/fisher for???
Rob murphy for??

the major concern is the carlton players and murphy at this stage.

i say trade waite for brennan then ottens for sandilands and that will give you some extra cash on top of better players for future trades...


for me my concerns are

backs: miller and copeland

midfield... matthews, even though he did get 90 odd this week

rucks: cox... due to injury... dunno if i should keep him or not....i have hudson as emergency.......
and lade ... wat happened to him... is he injured or just a bad game.... he went cr@@P

forwards: alwyn davey... not sure on consistantsy and mcdougall is a dud and just has to go....

thinking of going, b johnson for a young gun and putting gibbs in my starting 22. then trading waite or murphy for brennan.

My team is fine, I see no need to trade at the moment.

I got Barry Hall atm, and Nathan Brown, who i couldnt trade in time when i was at work before lockout Oh and Fevola's scores are hurting a little, but he is one of my guns who i wont trade unless he gets injured.

Midfield has 1 too many youngsters that i took a risk on, the 1 too many being Foley who Wallace seems determined not to give enough game time to. Oh and i hung on to Lappin so hopefully he gets a game for Brissie this week, although Gibbs was more than serviceable in his place.

some how i have put 2140 on the board.

played with 21 as lappin and ball were out. with players scoring below what they should.

and the above mentioned (bar ben jonson and walker) putting in some rather average scores.

2140 and 2194 in the past two weeks...where will this place me overall? top 750ish?

luke ball turn his contributions of 7 and 0 into two 80s and i would be in a very strong posi early on

This week I plan to trade B. Thornton and J. Waite for H. Shaw/L. Gilbee and N. Bock/ J. Brennen. Right now I am leaning towards Brennen and H. Shaw but I am a little concerned about whether Brennen can be consistent and whether it is dangerous having four Lions players in my 22. Any advice would be great?
This would leave me with 60 000 for future upgrades.

I plan to give Raines one more week and if he doesn't improve I will trade him. Cornes and Jones are also ones I will watch closely.

Eventually Gibbs will probably come into the 22 and I will down grade Foley to a rookie and upgrade Al. Davey to Brown (hopefully)

wat do ppl think of trading nathan g brown for nathan ablett and lachy hansen(who is starting ) for jed adcock. also i have johncock in my team but his price wont go down and i have xavier ellis to replace him for 2-3 weeks and if hes still not playing i could trade him for shaw/gilbee.
