Knights was reported for High front on Contact.

If he gets weeks for that the AFL is a joke as he was pushed into the Briss or Birss or Bitch or whatever that duds name is.

If the Carlton scum can get off for the Porps hit, then Knights should in no way get done for getting pushed into someone.

at full speed it was definately a report and the ump wouldnt have noticed the nudge that Knights got.

Will be thrown out in 2 minutes when they review the video.

My post from the matchday thread.
Knights gets pushed in the back, should have been a free kick to him, but a Saints free and he gets reported! Conclusive proof that the umps only watch one team! Laughable. Given that he plays for Adelaide and not for Carlton/Collingwood/Essendon he'll probably get weeks.

Absolute rubbish, if the umpire couldn't see that he doesn't deserve to be an AFL umpire.

Please explain how you think the umpire who was 10 metres away DID NOT notice the massive shunt Knights got???
I guess he is blind given the frees they were handing out all day...

Theres like minimum 10 pushes in the back that get missed by the umpires every week. Depends on the angle the umpire was on. I didnt notice it until the replay and its easy to say 'zomg how did you miss that' when they replay 5 different slow-mo angles after the fact.

As I said, if he noticed the push he would have got the free, not the report...hence why it will be thrown out in record time on Monday.

Hehe, and that goal umpire...everyone saw the deflection but him!!!!! :thumbsd:
It was an honest mistake, he obviously didn't see it, unlike the field umpires who simply choose not to see things, or don't see them because they're only watching one team. Having said that, if the decision was against Collingwood then there'd be an inquest.
Ok, watching the hawks wc game, just saw Mitchell NOT reported for blatantly clotheslining someone. What an absolute joke this league is. Simply mind boggling, we see it week after week after frustrating week. Oh and theres the other one nicely summed up 30 secs later, Williams takes a swing at someones head and the commentators say "Well he was going for the ball".
:D Topped off with a post graze, umpires consult each other, discussing... and the benefit of the doubt is given to, you guessed it... the victorian team!

Disgrace that he was even reported, yes, I can understand giving him a free, but surely blind fred could see he was shoved into it, I know I did. Couldn't believed it. Just like the HTB decision against Moran, the push in the back against Dangerfield when he shoved a bloke in the side of his bum, or when the ball hit the post and was called a goal, I could go on. Normally crap decisions go both ways, but today, there would have been 5:1 ratio of crap decisions against us to for us, disgraceful and whilst you can't blame the loss on it, gee it hurt.

For the sake of the game, all 3 field umpires need to be fined for their atrocious display today.

If Knights doesn't get off that, then we have reason to believe in a conspiracy against the crows. (tho i'd like to believe their is one already)

And why do the crows catch all the teams on their super-hyped-up missions? (and tainted umpiring that comes with it.)

- First the Sheedy/hird (one of those) umpiring orchestration, then the johnson orchestration, and today we again had to suffer through the Harvey orchestration.

FFS give us a break!

Cheating scum!! ha ha ha ha

I was at the game yelling for a free for a push in the back to Knights.

What do you know McBernie paid the free and made the report.....
McBernie was a disgrace as a so called umpire today.

The umpiring didn't cost us the game at all but he was horrible.

Have to disagree. When the game was there to be won and the crows were actually going ok and pulling away, the umps made many homeground and Harvey fairy tale decisions and non- decisions (which are worse).

This completely changed all momentum, sapped confidence, confused and annoyed and had the opposite effect on Saints. Thats enough to win and lose games by any margin.

When footy is a game of centimeters, you only have to have tiny things go wrong...like many purposely ignored frees, for the distance between sides to grow by the meter.

I dont care that frees were missed both ways and that there were only 3 frees difference, Saints got it easy today.

Harvey's first free...pffft. Then Harvey's free for a goal...laughable.
Placing the ball at your feet instead of throwing it back after a free/mark is, and has always been a 50m penalty...not so in our case today.
Holding the ball...a f...ink joke today.
Massie didn't get a fist to the ball...yeah right,
and to add insult to injury, a goal that clearly wasn't.

But the afl got what it wanted, another fairy tale hometown win against an afl intruder, Its so good for business. This is why I enjoy it so much that premierships have been dominated by the intruder clubs. West coast, Swans, Power, Lions, Crows...and may they rack up many more.

Completely Agree with the above. WTF was with Harvey claiming three free kicks that weren't his? One of which being a shot at goal. I booed him twice....................everyone in my area looked at me like I'd just killed someone. Boy was that funny.

Ha ha ha ha. Wish I was there to boo with you.

Knights should have got a free, not a report.

It'll be tossed out in record time.

He won't be called up ....the charge will be dismissed to save the panel a night at home
